We won't drop any points is pretty unlikely too
Just done a quick prediction for a bit of fun. Best we can do is 66 points.

By my prediction I have Chelsea in 3rd on 71, United 4th on 70, Leicester 67, Wolves 66 and Spurs 61.

If this is going to happen some of our competitors need to drop points to some terrible teams and fast. Going by this, and looking at our fixtures, our best chance will come from both Leicester and Wolves slipping up in 'easy' matches.

Of course last season we made a tremendous effort to throw away 4th place but Man Utd and Arsenal both decided to throw away the open invitation to take it.

The thing is, Mourinho told us that he had to tell the players during half time of the West Ham game, that if they didn’t up their performance and win, it would be the end of our CL chances.
You only have Mourinho's word for that, and I wouldn't say he was the most reliable source. Even if he said it, it doesn't mean that the players needed extra motivation of that type to play better.

We can be too quick to criticise our own players. It's almost as if we're looking for reasons to.

I mean, Poch hinted at it too on more than one occasion.

If they lose to a Palace with nothing to play for, then something could be brewing.
If they lose and we win tomorrow its down to 7 points. They still have Arsenal away, us away and United at home to play.

We'd need to win all of our games (which realistically won't happen), but this is our only chance of top 5 IMO.

Most of the criticism is ultimately because they've had a fucking shocker of a season - it's natural to try and figure out exactly what has gone wrong.

Shame we’re a couple of points too far behind Leicester as they are bottling it massively.

That joke of a decision to rule out Son’s goal at their place may end up being the difference between Europa League and the CL.

as usual towards the end of the season teams are doing their level best to keep us in it, shame we're almost guaranteed to fuck it up

If we're 3 points behind Chelsea going into the last two fixtures, I'd fancy our chances, providing we sort out our goal difference.

Nothing better then when you overrate your own team players. I generally cannot see how you can rate Sanchez better then Christansen because he cost more? Sanchez can be a very good defender but I want to see consistency and a serious improvement with the ball at his feet before we can start bigging him up. Dier is not as good as defender as Rudiger. Can he be yes.. if he nails down the position but there is a way go yet.

As for the other two they are only getting worse. I would not be against Selling Toby this transfer window now we have him on a three year contract and we will get more money.

Still believe this after watching the performance of Rudiger and Christensen today??
