I’ve seen that in football all my life. Defender gets done, tries to make up for it and clumsily leans in to the attacker who is goal side. It’s a pen. He doesn’t have to wrestle him to the ground or hack at him for it to be a pen. Just accept you got done and let him go.

Didn't think it looked clumsy at all. Think Pogba was looking for contact and fell the moment he got it. If Dier had tried a challenge fair enough but he was just leaning in and trying to go with him. No hands dragging him back; no rash attempt to get the ball with a flailing leg. There's barely any contact at all.

Lloris was excellent, Dier played well, Sanchez had a much better 2nd half, Aurier had a very good 70 mins but then deteriorated. Davies was steady and improved as the game went on. Overall I think our defence played well.

What cost us 3 pts was the persistence to keep a passenger in Kane on the pitch and not to beef up the midfield whilst keeping options up top for the counter. We lost our balance and were bullied in the middle of the park.
Regarding aurier he nearly cost us two goals poor performance

I'm amazed at the amount of people that were thinking that N'Dombele should have come on. Based on what I've seen it would have been like playing with 10 men off the ball in a game when utd bossed possesion.
I wanted him on earlier but once we dropped back it was clearly not his game.

West Ham will suit him more as we can get higher up the pitch and won't require him to screen as much.

The 3-0 we won 2-1?

Lost for words though that some are fine with the performance.
I mean if our stratagy was to try and match them in midfield and attack I would agree. But it wasn't, it was clearly we will give you possesion, you try and break us down. In the end they had only one significant chance, and a soft penalty. That is how mourinho plays like it or not. It's hard to criticise the performance when the plan was to take the pressure. The plan might have been a wrong one, but it actually almost worked, and, more importantly we look so much better defensively than before the break. Incomparably really. Offensively we have a lot of work to do.

really haven't missed sky and the media/officials agenda-driven bullshit at all in the last few months. moss can suck a bucketful of cocks too, the useless fat wank-sock.
Def haven't missed that. It was a wank-fest over Fernandes and then Fernandes and Pogba and then Pogba and Fernandes. Forget the no crowd noise option I need the no commentary option.

Thought it was a fair enough result. John Moss was desperate to give them both penalties though wasn’t he.

Not seen it said but thought we missed Dele tonight. He has that ability to slow the game and hold the ball. Would have been great to have there when we were under massive pressure

Don’t like the way this teams heading. We have some very good players in midfield and up front but sitting so deep to protect that defence is painful to watch. We need to improve the whole back four so we can move 20 yards up the pitch and be more proactive, hopefully those in charge think the same although I’m not confident on that
