Lets face it, funds will be low so I would like :

Muenier - Free,
Højbjerg,
Fraser - Free (who has told friends he would join us apparently)

Given the financial uncertainty only Højbjerg would cost us something. As he is in the final year of his contract this could be offset by selling KWP and Rose?

Still need a CB. Dias or whoever Jose feels appropriate.

Because of the situation with cash I wouldn’t be surprised if clubs will look to sell for income but I really don’t see a lot of money being spent at all. So I think there will be a lot of back and forth until late in the window.
the scramble for the free transfers must already be well under way I would have thought.

Albeit a rarity I think we’ll also see more straight swap deals or swaps plus a nominal amount as it’s the only way to get around having to outlay large sums of money, something a lot of clubs are going to struggle to do.

Weren’t we linked with Malang Sarr(?) from Nice, LCB also out of contact this summer. We were either linked, or else it was one of these articles suggesting we should be interested, can’t recall.

We had ITK which pretty much suggested that if we wanted him he was ours. I'm guessing that has now changed.

I think that’s been the case for a lot of transfers under Levy however it doesn’t always work out that way. Plenty of players willing to come to us in the past but we’ve either taken our sweet time negotiating over pennies or Levy decided to go for a second rate option. Was never gonna happen.

Someone like Osimhen would have been the perfect signing as talent aside he can play as both a wide forward, in a 2 and as a lone striker. We’re desperate for quality competition for Kane and someone who can provide both assists and goals in the range of a peak Son.

Kane, Osimhen, Son = lots of goals and assists
Bergwijn, Alli, Moura = in support and also chipping in.

Given Kane’s sketchy mounting injuries I would drop him a little deeper into the old Eriksen role and would love to play something like this:

................................ New GK ..............................
New RB.... Sanchez ...... Alderweireld... Sessegnon
...................... Lo Celso.... Ndombele ..................
........ Bergwijn.......... Kane ............... Son ...........
.............................. Osimhen ...............................

Mundo Deportivo reporting that Spurs are ‘leading the race’ for Ivan Rakitic

It says other clubs like juve and ath Madrid are put off by his age and Sevilla can’t afford him. There’s also a mention of arsenal in the article.

Whilst I like him and think signing him for a year or two would be a good idea, I’m starting to think our name is being used to flush out other English clubs.

May have been posted already so apologies if I’m duplicating but Listening to the View from the Lane Podcast last night charlie eccleshare was saying his understanding was that Thomas Munier was Not going to happen.

Usual reasons Money and other offers from more attractive teams (Dourtmund, other champions league clubs] had made the deal hard to do.

In all honesty I fully expect the transfer window to be pretty hard going from our perspective. Just hope we can shift Aurier by what ever means and bring in a dm and a right back.

That'd mean he will become the 18th most expensive player ever. With Ligue Un clubs losing 400 mil cumulatively, I don't see anyone splashing that kind of money on Osimhen, when his club has to sell.

Maybe it's some club like City, PSG (or Newcastle) so they can get the deal done as quickly as possible, but I still doubt it. He's very talented, but he's no Haaland, Mbappe or Odegaard.
