It's going to have a real impact on the local economy - the match day staff won't be working, programme sellers, fast food stands, local shops - they'll all be hit.

It's on the decline in China already, viruses peak and then decline.

Havent they introduced some really stringent measures over there. Which because of there unique political situation they have been able to do which other countries will struggle to replicate. Which has let them get the virus under control.

They straight up padlocked people inside their homes in infected areas

It's going to hit all pubs, restaurants and B&Bs throughout the country

If it comes down to a chairman’s decision to get voided on a majority. Will probably be close...

*Void*
All the clubs in the bottom 6 (as they all stay up)
Man City
Man Utd (keeping CL)
Arsenal (5th placed last year)
Spurs (keeping CL)
=10

Plus Everton maybe just for the fun of it. If Southampton and Newcastle have any worries then they might be for it as well.

Karen Brady winding up the scousers in the Sun today. I thought they didn't read it.

Their problem with suspending it also being that they have no home ground for the summer as they essentially don’t own it across the summer with concerts, baseball, athletics and other stuff

Guess we also have the same problem as we’re booked out for 3 weekends already in May and Jun

United wouldn't keep CL, therefore they'd be against.
Chelsea would keep though.

Simon Stone believes that null and void is the last thing all clubs want. Whether that's opinion or what he's being told I'm not sure.

Yep suspending the season will cause so so many issues. Some we've not even thought about yet, I bet.

At least null and void just makes things cleaner. Most of these scheduling issues just disappear.

I imagine that before April 4th they'll suspend it further but start to have a feeling about what may be the next step.

However. I can't see a situation in which we are deep into June with no sign of it easing and people still suggesting we restart the league when the coast is clear.

The best and realistic scenario has to be to void the season but next season have a handicap system so nowrich will be on - x points etc. European places remain the same as last season except city replaced with the team that finished 5th last season which would unfortunately be the scum

SARS started in November had 8k cases was contained officially by the July. Covid is already at 146k cases and probably nowhere near worldwide peak This could definitely go into next season. It all depends at what point they deem mass gatherings safe. If they are gonna wait for zero cases it could be a very long wait.

So much conjecture... It's quite apparent that football's governing bodies haven't got a clue as to how to progress because, let's face it, like the majority of civilised society - who would have legislated for a pandemic?

Liverpool supporting friend of mine said if they void this season the scouse supporters will march to Buckingham Palace and take the Queen’s crown as their trophy. :ROFLMAO:
