Kane wouldn’t want to leave until he’s had one full season with one of the best managers on the planet. I can see Kane putting 100% in for Jose because he knows he a serial winner.

What will he have seen to assume anthing is going to be different next season. He must feel huge pressure on himself to not only get fit fast but come back as good as before as it seems we are putting all our hopes in him. In reality we should be building a squad to support him so he doesn't have to carry the burden.

If he leaves before we attempt to do this then how will he know?

Just not long ago, so many of us are so against us selling our best players - 'we are not a feeder/selling club' keeps ringing round and round.

Now we couldn't even confirm the rumours of Kane leaving and almost everyone is OK for him to leave, sell for a great profit to rebuild the team because Mourinho is not the man to bring glory for Kane to waste time here.

Hmm.

Well Harry doesn't deserve this, we're holding him back mate, we need to have his best interests at heart.

How long should he have to wait? We have known about this for 2 seasons at least.
You quoted a poster about Mourinho, I asked you if he doesn't give the current incumbent the chance to build around him, how will he know, now you're talking about the previous two seasons? If he doesn't want to give Mourinho a chance then how will he know?

Kane also needs to look at his own thinking as well.

How many times has he pushed himself back and said he was fit when clearly not - he let us down badly in CL final last season for example.

He also pushes himself to play every game (including England games where other players seem to be rested) and doesn’t seem to want to be subbed etc and as a result he hasn’t really been that good for most of the past two seasons.

There‘s fault on clubs side as we should have another centre forward to compete with him but also Kane seems to bring some on himself.

Don't get me wrong I love him to bits (unless he leaves lol) but just seems he doesn’t listen to his body sometimes. It is difficult to know how much of that is down to club rushing him cos they’re too short sighted to have another centre forward option or Kane’s own stubbornness.

I was hoping he’d be a one club man and we’d be in a lot stronger position by now but in typical spurs and levy fashion have managed to pull shitness from the grasp of greatness.

I reckon he'll still stay.

Now that the euros are likely to be postponed, should he just give up on returning this season and have a full summer to rest up? Will probably do him the world of good in the long term.

Very true indeed . The worst part about the CL final is we had a two week build up for him to get fit . He clearly wasn’t ready

This is the same as the last time we qualified for CL in 10/11 with Bale, Modric, Van der Vaart, Et al..

The team was disbanded.

Who was it pointing out...

Lloris - going to MLS?
Rose - moved on
Walker - moved on
Verts - going to be moved on
Toby - still here, for now

Dembele - Crocked and moved on
Wanyama - Crocked and moved on

Eriksen - Left to preserve what little marbles he had left
Dele - still here, for now
Son - still here, for now
Kane - About to be moved on...
Who was it pointing out...

Given the list that followed and the glib comments attached, it must have been some anti-Spurs interest or lobbyist that has his or her eye on current Spurs players he'd rather have at the club he represents. Getting any suggestible Spurs fans to regurgitate, and so do part of his work for him, is presumably all part of the joke at our expense.

Harry Kane isn't someone's glove puppet, is he? Far more reliable to listen to Harry himself when ever he talks about aspects of domestic football, his career, international competition, scoring targets, etc. He's alway thoughtful and positive in his approach to matters football.

Kane puts in 100% because he's Harry Kane. He's our pride and joy, though he's not our only one. We have some fine players, a credit to whoever coached and guided them to be that way.

Do you think Harry will say something along the lines of " the club is in need and for me to ask to go now would not be right " or " I have now decided to move on to a new challenge " is Harry in fact not the hero that I think he is or just another player who puts his needs or wants above everything else . I would not blame him for wanting away but he would be one of our biggest hero's in the history of the club if he decided to stay and fight the cause .

It’s one of those difficult ones. We don’t want to be a selling club or feeder club but then we want to sell in hindsight when players decline.

There was almost no talk of us wanting to sell Eriksen in 2018 but now he has declined most of the board thinks we should have sold him then.

With regards to Kane I am of the opinion that we shouldn’t sell if he wants to stay. If he decides he want to leave then I would hope we could convince him to stay one more season then reassess.
