Following assessment and examination by our medical team, we can confirm that Steven Bergwijn suffered a significant sprain to his left ankle during our match against Burnley.

The Netherlands international will now undergo an extended period of rehabilitation where his progress will continue to be assessed.

Our season's over, la la la la la la

Can we get Rory Allen and Neale Fenn available?
Dunno about them but if Crouchy was willing to put his boots back on I'd take him in a heartbeat, even after he said on his podcast that he's barely kicked a ball or even worked out since last May.

Honestly what is happening with us this year. Without a doubt we have been cursed. Only positive could be that we will have to play Ndombele a lot more as we are simply running out of players! Let’s hope he can get a run of games and get him to understand what PL life is all about!

All this doesn’t really matter because we’ll be a few points off the top 5 by the beginning of April and then Kane, Son and Bergwijn will all return and we’ll get maximum points from our last 6 or so games, winning each one by 4 goals and then finish 4th or 5th. Piece of piss.

Some Sod somewhere shat on a gypsy burial ground and brought all the curses of Hades down upon us this season and I'd like to know who it was. This summer I want everyone of you to find Faustus get the devil's address and put your soul up for sale and damn well make it cheap.
I simply will not accept this level of injury misfortune again next year and if I have to I will blame you lot, no excuses next year must be injury free, MAKE IT SO!

Our forward line has been destroyed. Perhaps with the remaining fit players in the squad, this will give Jose the opportunity to play his preferred defensive line-up...

Lloris
Tanganga Sanchez Dier Toby Jan
Aurier Skipp Winks Sessegnon
Gazzaniga

Obviously I'm joking with that line up, but jeez this season goes from bad to worse. It will be an incredible turnaround for us to get to the next stage of the CL, and anywhere near the top 4.
