Thank you for sharing.

I’ve watched a bit of him since his name started getting mentioned, seems like he has enough about him to lead the line in place of Kane, but is different enough to Kane that they could pair up too. Very predatorial instinct when in the box, also very powerful and athletic.

Plus we need a new big Vic!
Yeah, Osimhen looks pretty awesome.

Jose wants Osimhen as CF option/rotation. Third time I've heard this now, from 3 different sources.

Thanks for this positive bit of ITK, Trix. (y)
This would be a great signing for our club.

cabinessence: For those thinking Jose might be toast by the summer if results don't improve, my Rock Solid info tells me he has had a free hit this season.

He’s was never going in the summer anyway. He’s here for a couple of seasons at least. Everything else is just hopeful and extremely optimistic thinking. Levy won’t pay off his contract while he’s still paying off Poch. It’d be cheaper to actually buy a fucking striker.

Why would it be optimistic/ hopefully to think that our manager will get the sack in under 2 years, thus meaning that he has failed and, ergo, our club has not progressed?

(Please take this post with a pinch of humour, I'm well aware I'm twisting the sentiment of your words to suit an overriding point which is not in fact aimed at you).

Those who want him out now and think he’s actually going are fooling themselves.

I’ve said two things on this.

Mourinho will when trophies (based on what I’ve been told - pending).

We’ll have to put up with a lot of shit first (based on what I know - confirmed).

People complain about his negative tactics but our squad is riddled with injuries and multiple players are running on fumes. Yes he could be a bit more creative with his team selections but it would mean putting a lot of faith in the kids and he’s already said they’re not ready. JM has also been very vocal in his interviews that he can’t play the way he wants to without having a full preseason and refreshing the squad. To get rid of him before he’s had a full summer with the players would be absolutely ridiculous.

Like I say, he won’t be sacked. There are current circumstances working against him that, given time, should improve. He’ll get the patience Poch wasn’t given. From the board at least. But it doesn’t change for me that he’s not the man who I want to lead us into battle anyway, in good times or bad. But there’s bugger all I can do about that but observe.

I disagree with none of this. I was merely using your reasonable post as a vehicle to respond to those who would like him out at all costs, despite the fact that a) he's yet to have any discernible opportunity to shape the squad and b) that would mean our club continuing to suffer.

Basically that his future isn’t dependent on what happens this season. Quite rightly too, he inherited a mess.

Don't get me wrong, because I think this season is a write off and Jose deserves time, but I also think his future is dependent on this season, Levy said that CL qualification will affect the summer window, I don't see Jose being happy with 3rd choice bargain bin players?

Of course CL qualification will affect the future. But it’s not going to get Mourinho the sack if we don’t qualify.

I realize that, but when Jose doesn't get what he wants it tends to fall apart rather quickly, if Levy doesn't front up in the summer I can see him having another big pay off early next season.

Harry Kane has spoken to DL, after the THST release. He is itching to be allowed to leave. Not sure DL will allow that. Hugo wants MLS.
