Wow he just massively threw Ndombele under the bus. Luke Shaw vibes.

Uncool, no matter what you think about Tanguy's performance.

People who actually want him sacked are absolutely pathetic :ROFLMAO:

It's utterly bizarre. I've been active on the forums for years, but it's only over the last month or two I've realized SC is full of morons.

Yeah it's harsh, but how else can you explain this much nonsense every single day?

Most key players out, lot's of new faces in, totally knackered and yet we find ourself in the mix for top 4 avaraging twice the amount of points we did the previous YEAR.

Much better in the second half.

But the Aurier sub was a step back again. It's like he's afraid. I'd rather lose by having a go, than losing like cowards like he's been making us play these last games

We could've won that after the positive tactics. Gedson or Sessegnon for Lamela instead of Aurier

We can definitively play much better than we are playing right now. It's up to Mourinho. If he continues to make us play like the first half with 5 cbs I fear he won't be here by the end of the season
And here it comes now after we got a point when 45 minutes ago we were taking non. ??‍♂️

Jose’s main specialty convincing everyone that he’s overachieving when he’s in fact underachieving actually works again lol

He’s finished

He was really trying to resist saying something but just couldn't hold back.

Rightly so in my opinion.

He's playing the game, there was no need to say anything at all but of course he had to. It's like he has only one method of man management which is to call them out and see how it goes. The world has moved on and rightly or wrongly your average multi million pound athlete doesn't like this any more.

Maybe this is what Ndombele needs but it could all happen behind closed doors, no need for this to be out in public.

How long are we going to have to put up with Ndombele's half arsed displays? It's obvious that he's been trying to improve his mentality and conditioning behind closed doors but the message isn't getting through. As much as I'm not a fan of calling out players in public you have to say he is 100% in right, if this doesn't give him a kick up the backside then nothing will - we just can't afford to carry these players especially not now.

I'm comfortable with it as long as he has expressed his opinion to Tanguy prior to that interview.

There is no agenda from anyone to wanna criticise him, but if GLC has become our most important player despite joining us without a preseason, Ndombele has all the responsibility himself to make sure he is at a peak to help the team.

He just doesn't seem interested or put in the shift required and it has become way too obvious now. It's just such a waste when everyone knows the beast he could be when hitting form.

TBH he should have called him out against Wolves but he refused to, he just laughed it off so it's not as if he hasn't given him chances.

Due to injuries and players' form, I genuinely think we'll struggle to win even one of our remaining games this season.

But on the other hand, I'm actually really optimistic about next season, since we'll have Kane, Sonny and a few others raring to go.

The bizarre world of a Spurs fan... :cautious:

What did he say
Paraphrasing:

We had something in the first half that we did not in the second half, and in the second half we played a lot better.
(On Skipp) No, not Skipp, he played brilliantly for 120 minutes midweek and he's a kid, I won't say a bad thing about him.
I hope he can be better next season, because now it isn't good enough.

Didn't say his name once but no mistaking who he was talking about.

Wasn't thrilled to see another new system implemented in defence, was very happy to see him change things and improve 2nd half. Burnley away 1-1 in isolation isn't a bad result. When you're in our situation of needing some points just to keep the chase up though it's not ideal but we move on. Personally think he will pull off getting us past Leipzig this week.

We got a point??? wow

We lost a half because of his shitty tactics, and got 1 point after he partially corrected it. We lost 2 points. We could've lost 3 if he hadn't made the changes at half time.

8 months at the club and the guy that came in a month after he arrived is currently out performing him ... He shouldn't need be offended by the words of his manager when he is letting himself down.

Spot on. Just on the bolded bit though, people are forgetting that there's more than one way to be "the better team". If I had a penny for every time over the last decade I've seen Spurs be "the better team" and lose, I'd have enough money for a pint of Gamma Ray at the ground. Ultimately, the Norwich game being a prime example, the team that has all the possesion and plays in pretty patterns in the first two thirds of the pitch often isn't the one that actually creates the clear cut chances (we had numerous, Norwich didn't and were reliant on an error for their goal). I really think a lot of people's perception of what happened in that game has been influenced by the utter shit the commentators kept coming out with.

People have also seemingly forgotten that we were back to blowing fodder away when José first came in and had something resembling a full squad to utilise. The bizarre propensity for letting teams have a couple of late goals would have been stamped out pretty quickly I reckon.

as I posted elsewhere v Norwich we had 1 more corner, shot on target and off target, and 50/50 possession but in my eyes they looked the more dangerous until that last 12 minutes and the 1st 20

True, but that should be resolved in private. Mourinho has done this public criticisms in the past, and I can't recall if it worked in any player. It's a very bad tactic for a group leader nonetheless.
