I don’t think the Euros will even take place. Stop worrying yourself !!

If they didn’t and the season could start earlier then I bet leagues all over the world would be quite happy. It would really help them with sorting themselves out with the stupid timing of the next World Cup.

He’s actually still top PL scorer across all competitions plus country with 27 goals. Real shame for him he was on course for a mega 50/60 goal season. He’s now missed an entire season of his career with injury.

or a charge for 5th spot which will likely get a champions league place.

also I used to dislike us playing Europa league due to the Thursday - Sunday scenario but right now I think next season it may actually be beneficial for us to play in it. Play our reserves / kids in the group stages and then when the competition gets serious play the big guns. Will probably give our squad more of a break this way as for the past 4 seasons we’ve had to play our strongest 11 in every champions league game.

5th place will be long gone by April, imo.

There's no point rushing Kane back he should be allowed a full recovery. I was thinking a return to action next season after the first international break.

It would be great to get him back that quick, but I hope we don't rush him.

If he is back in April, he will play the euros (if it happens) so won't get a break.

Yeah, he is very easily fooled.

if he comes back in April then he would have had a 3 month break already. Scoring some goals and who knows maybe winning the euros would probably do him the world of good.

He certainly doesn’t need a rest, he’s doing that right now!

Only important thing is he is eased back into things slowly. Would be an disaster if he tore it again.

If people think training to get fit form a bad injury is a rest they are stupid. Harder work than playing football.

I’m not saying he’s doing fuck all, but he had a few weeks at least after the surgery recuperating.
