I find it weird that RB Leipzig have a strong fan base given that most of us support our clubs from childhood, and they didn’t exist 11 years ago.

But then again neither did Manchester City, I guess...

There is nothing around the Leipzig area and other than the old East German club Lokomotive there hasn't been a team to support. Leipzig despite the RB connections has managed to attract a fan base crying out for a Bundesliga team to call its own. They have built it from the ground up, so while there is jealousy from other clubs it is more to do with the threat they pose.

Support from big corporations is not new in Germany, but what has irked some is the way they got around the 51% ownership rule. But as a club, they have a great structure, tremendous facilities and a short and long term philosophy that is admirable from a footballing perspective.

Surprised Sessegnon and Parrott aren’t on the bench. You get teenage sensations like Sancho by actually playing them
QFT. Our squad is decimated by injuries, Parrott should be an option. But instead we will watch Moura fail up front - not his fault - and have zero plan B. Again.

Leipzig technically don’t play with any CB’s. Halstenberg and Klostermann are fullbacks while Mukiele is also a RB but is better as a CB

All 3 are fast

I love how plenty on here seem to be able to say that Ndombele should be starting. Do you guys go to watch training often? And how do I get access to the fitness stats of our players?
He still our best player, even if he can play 45 minutes he should in a game like this.

Would like to see Parrott on the bench as an option. Amazed that Ndombele isn't able to start, given he's not injured. Ridiculous situation.
He's probably not fit enough to play the whole 90. So much rather use him as an impact sub in the second half. Ridiculous situation to be in. Is he just not fit? Is it a mental thing? He's an incredible player that needs to get himself sorted out.

What makes you believe Parrott is qualified enough to be a plan B in UCL last 16 match?

if we need a goal, who is more likely to come on, Erik or Troy? So why waste a slot until the BOY is ready.

just because his profile says Striker does not mean he should be playing ahead of established world players.

We all know he is talented but we also know the guy cant last longer than 20 mins before he is huffing and puffing. I love how he plays but unfortunately he just wont be able to chase etc

Sessegnon not even on the bench.
I don't think you will ever see Mourinho playing young guys like Poch did it's not his way unfortunately. I can see Parrot looking for a move in the summer and Mourinho will probably let him go, I hope not.
Tonight I would rather see Lamela (and I'm Not one of his biggest fans) instead of Deli or even Ndombele and Tanganga instead of Aurier.
Deli hasn't offered much lately and Aurier is an accident waiting to happen.
