That low level striker is looking like a good option right now.
Nope, someone was saying just get anyone from the Championship.

Bergwijn, Moura and Alli as a front three is better than just getting in dross.

It is unbelievable that people forget the likes of Rasiak and Booth, players out of their depth and way below level are of no use.

Your premise is based on an it argument so if he doesn't hit the heights we were hoping for and totally destroys his mentality then what...?

The only reason Mourinho is saying he isn't ready is not to put pressure on him. It's mind games. He'll be involved in match day squads now. He simply has to be. Give him ten minutes here or there and see how he does. Ease him in gently. I remember Kane missing a penalty against Hearts and he went on ok. I doubt Parrott will be cut of exactly the same cloth but he's got this far in his career this young, I'm sure he has enough belief in his ability.

He'll run himself into the ground if he's given a cameo, he looks that kind of striker from what I've seen. He works hard. Bringing him on to pressurise centre backs late in games is ideal.

Mark my words, we will play even better football without Son. He has become more and more greedy with each passing year and has become deterimental to the overall teamplay. Poor first touch and not good enough to be a luxury player whose half arse about his defensive duties

This sounds crazy but with him out of action, i think Top 4 is now in the bag.

We’re a better team without Kane, and an even better team still without Son. Just think how good we could be without Toby and Lo Celso too?

Or even better, if we had hardly any players at all and lined up as a five a side team. Think of all the extra space we’d have to play better football.

Ali, moura and parrot are the options up top

Ali, moura, Lo Celso, sess, lamela and bergwijn are options behind

Winks, ndom, Gedson, Dier and Lo Celso are options behind

Personally for me.....

ali or parrot up top (why not give parrot a go)

bergwijn, Lo Celso and moura

winks and ndom or Gedson

not ideal losing a player like son but this is why you have a squad. Time for other players to step up. Take the chance and mourinho will love you - blow it and you’re gone. These situations will shape our future under mourinho as he will soon realise who he can and can’t rely on

Sounds like the Lloris injury. Only Spurs could have 2 such rare and serious injuries to key players in the same season.
It doesn't sound anything like the Lloris injury tbh. Hugo dislocated his elbow and did all sorts of soft tissue damage, Sonny has (it seems) fractured something which is a much more simple injury to deal with.

Ok, fair enough. I thought Lloris fractured his elbow also.

They are kind of similar though, and still quite unusual for one team to have 2 players in a season have surgery on their elbows.... unless of course that team happens to be THFC.

Lloris had to be given oxygen and stretchered off , Son got up, scored a couple of goals and gave a cheerful interview. Reading between the lines, I am hoping Son will be back sooner

Been reading comments on the BBC saying it's karma for breaking Gomes' leg. The delusion is real. :banghead:

Jose was very negative about how many minutes Ben Davies could give us just back from injury and we got a full match out of him, so I would take Jose's comments with a pinch of salt.
It must be something like a hairline fracture for Sonny if it did happen during the game , you don't clap your hands in the air like Sonny did with a properly broken arm, or go sliding along the turf.
