Not going to discuss the racism side but footballers should know by now to be very careful with anything they put onto social media, even privately.

Let's not get carried away. Like you say this is stupid and he is an idiot but it's not a shameful, racist act.

Its quite hard for anyone to know what to think when the media are fearmongering, people tend to react negatively when you put them in that position.

What this needs is for him to publicly apologise, the club make a statement and then hopefully this can be an eye opener to no doubt the many young people who are feeling the same way.

It might be banter and down the lower end of the racism scale but just think if I did the same but filmed a black person and cracked jokes about Ebola.

He'll have to wear what ever the FA throw at him and get on with it.

Get off social media and stop putting your trust in the mugs around you, social media will do those in the public eye no good.

Pointless saying he'll have to learn, it's not like he is reading the musings of a bloke on a football forum is it?

FA should throw the book at him and once thats over we kick him out of the first team for a year or 2 before letting him leave on a free or selling for anything. No excuse. Hundreds, soon to be thousands, of people are dead over this virus. Still absurdly immature after all this time. Disgraceful. Really growing tired of Dele. If he’s not fucking up on the pitch, he does off of it. Million dollar talent, 2 cent head.

Settle down.
He’s a professional footballer. He should know better. He’s either racist or still just a complete fucking idiot. Racism is a huge stain on this game. He’s been subjected to it as well as alot of his teammates club and international and he still does this. Settle down? Dele is part of a massive problem. We’re never going to kick it out of the game but ostracizing a talented footballer for a while could go a very long way.

Yeah, he should know better but he's only 23 and has pretty much grown up in a privileged bubble.
Pretty sure that at 23 I still had the capacity to make the odd stupid mistake.

Shit, I didn't get married til gone 30 and that was one of the biggest mistakes of my life!

I take it you also want Hugo booted for being convicted in criminal court of drink driving, Ledley King banned from the club and disassociated with for making racially abusive remarks relating to the ethnicity of a Pakistani bouncer, and hell, let's also give back our one trophy from the past 20 years because if was won with the head of someone convicted or affray and receiving a severe sentence for it (100 hours of community service is severe for a first time offence where violence wasn't involved), with the victim also left unconscious by one of the other defendants associated with that trial.

You really don't think sometimes. Dele did something stupid and will rightly be punished, but he's made a mistake from which hopefully he will learn. Please don't tell me you were whiter than white at 23, your posting history on this site alone suggests you're not someone who thinks through his every action.

Clearly has the same amount of awareness and intelligence off the pitch as he's had for most of this year on it.

strange comment to make, he's been good on this pitch, this off the pitch incident is bad isn't it? Or do you condone this kind of behaviour?

Not seen the video, but he's been caught out before & should have know better, social media is something all footballers should avoid.

Yep. Social media in general is awful. Why you’d entertain it when you’re a footballer I don’t know. It’s only ideal for reality tv divs/you tubers and other assorted nut jobs.

Are you his mate or something? Get off his dick.

I think you'll find my first comment on the matter was:

For fuck sake, this is stupid. He should know better.

I just feel particular contempt for the foolish, the deceitful and the ridiculous.

Nice homophobic comment by the way ;) Beautifully ironic considering what you are condemning Dele for.
