Steady on! Llorente helped us into the CL final, and Giroud has won the World Cup. Balotelli would either be amazing or set fire to his bathroom again. I’m fine with any of these names, trust the club and the manager. Chill!

I would have thought that, but the same ITK says Jose thinks he’s nuts and I’m not sure I want us to bring someone in against our managers wishes in his first transfer window with us.

If we are going down the 433 route with a counterattack based plan to beat the press, surely Balotelli is the only one there that makes sense? I’d be half tempted to try and get him and Giroud, to see us through to the summer in all honesty - Balotelli as the main striker and Giroud as an as needed plan B.

I know what you mean. As long as it’s just until the end of the season. I think if we sign no one then the season is a write off anyway so may as well have some entertainment.

Personally I'd like to see Balotelli. He's more mature, but still young enough, for and powerful.

He may be "entertaining", but if Jose knows him and trusts he can get anything out of him, a loan with option to buy for the remainder of the season is worth a punt.
