What’s happened with abaumayang’s ban. Is it three matches? Would be nice if it is.

Edit: yes three matches. Great.

Looks like they’ve unearthed a potential superstar in Martinelli. I suspect they’ll have a flood of talented young players coming in from Brazil in the next few years too with Edu’s connections down there. Bit of a downer...

Yeah he looks a real talent....but can they keep hold of him? If one of the big teams comes in, I don't think they are in a position to be able to keep hold of youngsters now.

Financially they are going to keep struggling the longer they are not in the CL.

Martinelli looks a bit special, but they were fortunate in that they were able to unearth an Italian passport for him before he'd even played a professional game. They wouldn't have been able to sign him otherwise.

Because Edu was the technical director of the Brazil FA he’ll have all the agents down there in his back pocket. They’ll do some great business no doubt.

Rumours that Barcelona are very interested in him and we know how much the Brazilians love playing in Spain and especially for one of the biggest clubs in the world

Would be hilarious if true. Many people, myself partially included, thought they'd done good business in the summer.
Yeah, me too. I mean we supposedly backed out when there was no option to buy but I thought he looked decent when I've seen him playing for them. The last I heard, he was talking about never wanting to go back to RM and he wanted to make the move permanent.

I thought their fans loved him but it seems like they don't rate him at all. Maybe it's just a case of didn't-want-him-anyway-itis now that it looks like it's not going to work out.
