Good times but still a work in progress.

Can see this beautiful lot blood, sweat and tear-ing it to an FA Cup but we're not quite elite ELITE... yet

I think he's been fairly consistent the last month or so. There's still bits of his game that I don't like, but overall he's been pretty good.

If he can stay forward, then he's an asset. When he has to defend, that's when we have problems. I'm not looking forward to seeing him against the Utd attackers.

I think it shows that Dier is not cut out for this team anymore.

Didn't watch the first half so don't know how bad he was but this is probably the first time he's played two games in a week for nearly two years. Sounds like his illness was horrific. Give him time to see if he can come back from that before writing him off.

And Eriksen, especially after his non-performance on Saturday. I've refrained from criticising Eriksen too much, but he gave me the right hump against Wet Spam. He broke into a trot once or twice and that was about it. Atrocious attitude.

I'd better take that back after Eriksen's performance tonight. Credit where it's due - he played very well.

Whatever Jose said at HT changed the game. But Winks and Dier should both be benched next game.

Winks had a bad first half, but at least he tried. Dier was like playing with 10 men. The ball passed by him.
Mourinho should get Dier on a special training or some sort of preseason training to regain fitness. He is useless right now. Not even worth the place in the bench

3 points and through to the knockout stages that’s the most important thing

But our defence needs to be sorted out. As I said before no matter the manager we need to buy a RB, LB, DM and possibly CB

Alli and Kane getting into some seriously good form which is nice and Eriksen played much better today and helped us turn this around

Now onto Bournemouth on Saturday COYS
Don't think we need a left back. I think RB, DM, CM and backup striker.

IMO he's had max 2 bad games all season (Bayern and Soton), the rest he's been fine to excellent.

Dier hasn't played well in midfield for years, and to be honest he's never been any good there. It's a position totally at odds with the attributes he possesses.

Nah disagree. It was obviously a tactical change and Jose obviously rates him. Dier has barely played and was out with his illness. He needs time and I think he will be given it.

Quite

Unfortunately you feel Poch would have persevered with Dier until well into the second half whereas one thing you know with Jose is that he'll be much more proactive.

Exactly. Pochettino probably would have changed to a three at the back after 0-2.
