Think people need to remember that if the squad have lost faith in the manager there is no coming back from it. No club can clear out the vast majority of the squad so this is the right call.
This bit is especially important and especially important at Spurs. You've all seen what Levy's transfer activity has been like over the past couple of years. The idea that Poch could've successfully rebuilt on that budget when the majority of his tenure's most important players were unhappy was always a bit of a pipedream. When you look at who's happy and who's staying etc., it's clear that Poch would've needed almost an entirely new XI to get back to the top 4 consistently.

I bet they don't. Try a lot higher profile. I have never named the one player in particular for good reason, but Christ if people haven't worked it out yet from what I've posted then I'm dumbfounded.

So was Harry’s Instagram post totally fake? It seemed heartfelt and speaking of Poch not just being his boss but a true friend.

I find it so hard to believe it was Harry?

Apologies if I am reading your comments wrong here, hopefully you will be able to correct me if so!

First of all Instagram/Facebook messages are always kind of fake. If you are a close friend to someone you tell him in person not in your Insta Story. A pro player needs to do that though so the media and the fans don't make assumptions like there you got it, Kane doesn't care or whatsoever.
On a second level I believe the words of Harry posted are true. You can be very thankful, you can be a friend, but the current business is not working as it is. And looking forward only a change can help. There is no problem in saying goodbye on good terms while everyone knows it is the right thing to do.

I'm not saying who it was for obvious reasons. As I've posted all along though. There has been no big fallings out, and I'm sure the bulk of the players still love him as a person and for he's done for them.

There is a difference though in that and not being willing to continue with what's going on football wise. Remember quite a few of these players have gone through the bulk of this 5 year plan which was seeing progress to find out there is another long term plan in order to get any pots on board. Not only that but the way they are being asked to play in this new project is different to what was clearly working before. Players careers are short, and for the top players it's easy to move on to a team that's already at the top of the game trophy wise. It's not like they didn't like him, they just stopped believing, and had he stayed certain player(s) would have asked to leave.

I'll leave it at that.

Lol I found him annoying as fuck when I watched him on sky sports! ??

Love that you’ve made him your profile pic now though! ???

ENERGY!

I am in awe that Sky Sports managed to find a ketted up Spurs-supporting queen on his way back from the local sauna (don't ask) willing to deliver sassy soundbites on Tottenham High Road at 9 in the morning tbh

I bet that comment about having to wait 10 years for a trophy didn't help morale

It's this differentiation that is really hard to get across to the romanticists in the Poch In camp before it happened. From following your posts, rumblings in the media and in my own eyes I was pretty sure both Poch and the players had lost faith in the club project.

I can tell some of my mates struggled with this as I've been vocal of wanting him out since Brighton. There's been comments inferring I've turned my back on him, etc...

You can love the guy and appreciate everything he's done but also think a fresh start is needed, and it clearly was. This is where Kane's head was out no doubt. I'm sure that post was 100% genuine.
