First interview

I don't like the guy, but he will bring some fire to the club which we desperately need. It was a great video though and certainly gives us hope. Poch has gone so we just have to move on and see where we are at the end of the season.

Almost right, Joe Lewis wanted him from then until now, and ofcourse Daniel was in agreement. But driven by Joe Lewis. And he has a very good budget, with assurances his signings will be done in good enough time. And summer window, before they return for pre-season. His key signings thst is. I expect from educated early guess, he will go in for two of his countrymen.
Well we’ve been after one of them since the summer and we really need to try to get him in January.

I know a lot of that is scripted but you could imagine him saying the same thing to the squad. Let's be honest he is spot on with him being all around Europe and if he talks about the club, stadium & training ground being at the very top it's going to get a reaction isn't it?

It was very professional and mature interview. A rejuvenated Mourinho can take our club a long way.

I can't wait for this guy to start work. Totally different bloke to the **** we see on the touchline
Come on, that's not fair. Chirpy doesn't even have opposable thumbs.

One bit I liked about the video was him making clear that we shouldn't say one of the most beautiful stadiums but the best. I think it's good to see somebody fearlessly put themselves out there when talking and not be too humble. We suffer from that a lot, we were too scared to talk about being in a title race or finishing above Arsenal. I think he has the potential to remove that.

Those training pictures from the club look so weird. This just feels so odd to me that not only do we have a new manager but that manager is Jose Mourinho of all people. Never did i think he would ever manage this club.

I still didnt think he would until Poch was sacked last night. Then it all just fit. We would hever have done that unless his replacement and his staff were already lined up and all that was needed were signatures. Only 2 managers fit that, Jose and Allegri. Books were on Mourinho and Allegri wants United.

thanks for sharing, however im sure weve been told before that Poch was backed to get signings done quicker and earlier but never really happened bar Ndombele only in last window, so if im honest im not so hopeful on that promise to Jose if thats what the club have said to him, im not knocking what you shared just the club hasnt kept its side of the bargain to even Poch.

You were fucking crowing about it all over the Pochettino thread yesterday saying it was a done deal and we should all get used to it. Now today you never thought he would manage this club? (n)

Biggest difference is Mourinho won't stand for it. Poch kept quiet, worked with it, but if Mourinho has been promised something and Levy/the board goes back on it, all hell will break loose.

Its wierd to see someone like Jose instead of Poch as a coach interacting with players...

But putting that aside...this is one picture, that I am really happy to see already. I strongly believe Dele will be even better player under Jose and will be integral part of the XI .

I am now reconciled with the idea of Jose. It’s the obvious choice. Just took a bit of time to cry out the pain of losing Poch.
