Is it just me or was there some ITK years back, that DL/JL were big on Mourinho and were close with him? I swear I remember reading something like that.
I’m sure I’ve read/seen that Levy wanted him when he was at Porto and again before we got Poch in..I’m sure that’s right. I await to be told otherwise!

Im positive. And think this will be a good run. Time will tell us if its only 1-2 seasons..Or more!

Only thing that really really bugs me..Is the quality of the photographs..And video content looks amateurish  I only mention this because I do this for a living..haha! But with rockstars and women..Not fotballers..

When you work for a company you represent the company, not your boss, when you sign a contract at work, you sign a company contract not your bosses contract, when you attend any external events or meetings you represent your company not your boss, when you deal with internal and external clients you represent your company not your boss.

I dont even think this is a good comparison, but it serves its purpose.
But the question was whether youwouldsign a new contract if you didn't like your boss.

I have left several companies because I didn't like my boss. I got my head down for a while and did my best but after a while left.

While I represent my company it is not the reason I stay in employment.

I still can't believe within 24 hours, I could wake up feeling sad, but overtaken by excitement, and back to sleep with optimism.

Anyone else think it’s a bit weird bringing these two guys in from Lille?

I’m assuming the connection is the sporting director there who is a mate of Mourinhos. You’d think he must be coming too else why bring those guys in?

Imagine levy paying the compo for the two coaches but then not following through and paying for the sporting director. Would be classic levy to do that and annoy his new manager from the get go.

I know a lot of that is scripted but you could imagine him saying the same thing to the squad. Let's be honest he is spot on with him being all around Europe and if he talks about the club, stadium & training ground being at the very top it's going to get a reaction isn't it?

Jose best Chelsea team had this

Cech
Bridge Carvalho Terry Ferrerira
Makelele
Lampard Essien
Robben Cole/Duff
Drogba/Gudjohnsen

If we were to fit what we have currently in the squad into this team, without the contract rebels, it might look like

Hugo/Gazza
Davies Sanchez Juan Aurier/KWP
Dier
Winks/LeCelso Tanguy/Sissoko
Son/Moura Ali/Lamela
Kane

Only concert here would be the lack of pace in our fullbacks

Not calling you out intentionally as I have seen a lot of these sorts of posts, but what makes you think Jose is just going to try and recreate his best Chelsea team? Football and the league has moved on and so has Jose.

Not weird at all. It's like you said, him and Campos knowing each other. He's probably been keeping tabs on them, as they are Portuguese.

Almost right, Joe Lewis wanted him from then until now, and ofcourse Daniel was in agreement. But driven by Joe Lewis. And he has a very good budget, with assurances his signings will be done in good enough time. And summer window, before they return for pre-season. His key signings that is. I expect from educated early guess, he will go in for two of his countrymen.

I think the names have already been guessed.

I am actually feeling much more optimistic in this moment than ever before as a Spurs supporter. I think appointing Mourinho, especially with this "timing" (while many fans were still in favor of keeping Poch, not waiting until the last minute or an entire season of poor results), shows that DL is changing. Mourinho is a massive financial investment, and there's no way he would sign without some promises on transfer budget. The stadium and training ground are done. It's time to go full steam ahead to cement Spurs as a serious big time, world best club.

The interest in Bruno F was because of potentially Mourinho coming in?

I didn’t want Poch sacked but now he has I’m warming very quickly to Jose.
I’ve always felt he liked us or like he said at least respected us.
At the very least it’s exciting, a rejuvenated Jose could be just what this squad needs. As long as he doesn’t get his sulky head on because it’ll go south very quickly if that happens.

Levy has destroyed the work we've done this years with this appointment
This year as in 2019? As in 25 points from 25 games? The CL run masked (and at times showed - SF 1st leg and 1st half of 2nd leg being clear examples) the issues we have
