Although this involves Richard Keys, it's a very good insight into his philosophy.

Watched this next and his shutting down of Keys' comments re parking the bus! :ROFLMAO:

He speaks so well and says his philosophy depends on the club. Also states he preferred winning trophies and finishing 6th over 2nd.

The more I watch and listen to him speak tactics the more I look forward to what he can do with us.

It seems many are skeptical over Jose's transfer record at Utd. Nothing wrong with questioning this.

It seemed Jose was not happy with how business was done at Utd. They had money but couldn't attract players over their rivals. This resulted in an expensively assembled squad not as good as their rivals.

Really hope Jose has learnt from this time and whatever our transfer setup is then it is right for our club.

It will be interesting to see what impact if any this will have on the naming rights. Jose certainly brings attentiom eyeballs, and clicks wherever he goes.

haha that's SO Spurs Community. Mourinho's teams 'struggled' past which conveniently ignores the luck of the seven blind bastards we supposedly enjoyed in getting there. We also see this a lot when people praise Pochettino for finishing 4th last season. Apparently we only did it because the other teams were shit. Did we fuck, we did it because our results were better.

If they got the the final they deserved to. Exactly the same as we did.

I get your point but that's not really what I was getting at. I didn't mean United didn't deserve to win it, rather that getting a trophy after beating a handfull of bad teams doesn't come close to the achievement of getting to a CL final having gone through some of the biggest club teams in the world (and losing to the very best).

Hull almost made the final that year. Southampton did. Stoke and Everton were in the semis the year before. There are less good teams, less games and even the good teams rest their best players most of the time.

So for me, in terms of achievements, winning the League Cup would be far below a significant CL run.

Fair dues if others feel silverware is silverware.

Jose has done interviews where he spoke of how he would be meticulous in picking his next job after United. Everything had to be right. He wouldn't have taken the job if he and Levy were not on the same page, nor if he didn't think he could take these players up another level or two.

Anyone thinking negatively over his appointment should take the time to listen to him in his media appearances since United until now. Very smart man who speaks incredibly well. He is a winner first and foremost. We need that.

Lol the famous Mourinho galvanization process as already started. As I've gotten several text messages offering their 'condolences' from friends who support Arsenal, United, Liverpool etc. Especially one Gooner mate saying "From all Arsenal supporters in the world I'd just like to thank you for appointing Mourinho before us". And I don't know why that particular text got me so fired up but I couldn't stop picturing a grinning José while we completely smash Arsenal.

I'm already feeling like the whole world want to watch Spurs + Mourinho implode and burn - Which in turn makes me even more keen on Mourinho succeeding. The guy hasn't even had a press conference yet and it's already THE WORLD VS SPURS.

He's sorcery you know, José Mourinho.

Interesting, we’re gonna have to watch the Portuguese and Italian press for transfer stories now. Gonna be far more leaking than under Poch.

Wonder how Levy is gonna enjoy playing with Jorge Mendes, too?

Completely forgot about his involvement in things!

Very excited by this. Can see Toby staying now. Seems he's not bringing in faria as his assistant so it looks like he's refreshing his coaching staff.
