Mourinho and Levy working together. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. I can see it now:

Jose: I want Dybala.
Levy: Here, have Teemu Pukki instead.

I would take Mourinho but have never really liked him and have slagged him off on countless occasions. It just seems inevitable so why fight it? Might as well give him a go, the worst that can happen (relegation aside) is that we don't win anything and we're all used to anyway.

Bayern must be absolutely buzzing with this. Got linked a few weeks ago now they don’t have to pay a penny if they genuinely want him. Imagine if we fuck up Olympiacos next week and have to beat Bayern away with Poch in the dug out hahaha
Be worth it if it meant he wasn’t at Utd or another Premier League Club. I still love the man and wouldn’t want to see him in Manchester any time soon.

Always despised Mourinho, but listening to him as a pundit he’s honestly a undeniable tactical genius. He seems rejuvenated and refreshed. Poch would only be worth firing for Pep, Klopp, Simeone and Jose in my opinion

I want Mourinho in for the aggro as well. Opposition fans already fucking hate us; Mourinho feeds off that and often puts it to good use. "No one likes us, we don't care!" - I'm totally on board for some of that.

Thing with Jose is Levy cannot bullshit in transfers. He would be the first to publicly call him out for it.

You dont pay to sack Poch and bring in Jose to scrimp a few million in transfers. Could be way off the mark but I feel this is Levy hedging his bets with funds moving forward. He has to spend money now there is no excuse and Jose has a track record of results.

I don't understand this need to have a likeable manager? Who cares if we are winning whether he's a prick or not? I don't
Especially given the assortment of fine, upstanding and noble gentlemen we have on SC, amongst whom number some of the finest connoisseurs and judges of pricks on the planet

The difference between us winning things and imploding dramatically at the crunch over the past few seasons can largely be put down to mentality IMO.

Perhaps if we had a bit of arrogance and swagger about the club, we’d have won things by now.

I lost my admiration of JM after watching how boring ManU were. He’s been sacked after so many short spells. Not the right fit for us.
Maybe Benitez could work with Levy’s parameters. Or Rodgers has impressed with his stints at pool, celtic and leicester. Both would suit us more than JM.

How would we feel with Poch at ManU or arse?

At Arse...he's dead to me. United would hurt but we've let him go and he's well within his rights to sign for whiever the pleases (as long as it isn't Arse).

I loved him up around the time the ITV documentary was made (some time around his Madrid appointment I think, as it included footage of him crying with players when leaving Inter) but the 2nd season there broke him and it continued through to the Man Utd reign.

I hope that he's gone back to a more intelligent/chilled Mourinho and not the stressy moody one. Despite what people are saying, he's one of the best managers (if not the best) this side of the millennium, so one can't turn their nose up at the chance if we have it.

Toby doesn't look to disappointed.

He's quite a good speaker in front of the camera though.

Jj on twitter says "least we are bringing in someone decent" and then this
"You have to move quickly sometimes and make tough decisions. Also you need to secure the incoming manager first."

Personally I think it's all a smokescreen for us to snatch up Warnock before he retires
