Thanks Poch. Gutted at this decision as felt that Spurs rediscovered their soul under him and it was fun to go every week again.
A very hard act for the new manager to follow as Poch was rightly loved. If things go wrong now it could get poisonous.......

Yep. He’s successor is on a hiding to nothing whatever happens. I feel sorry for him already!

Time for any decent young player to look for a new club then.

And in 3 years time, when everything goes pear shaped as with all his jobs, the club to be in a far worse state than it is now.

Just as well we don't really have any coming through the ranks then.

Wow I didn't actually think this would happen for at least a few more weeks.

Thank you for everything Poch you will always be in our hearts, but this was inevitable and I'm happy for Levy to make the right decision for the club and our fans. As he said in his statement.

I'm really excited to see what comes next.

#COYS!!

I can only imagine it's come about this suddenly due in part at least to player power.

Kane looked really fucked off the last few games, as have others. If he and some other senior players went to Levy to talk about change that would've had a serious effect on the decision.

When you’ve the likes of Kane playing for England and being on fire and then see the polar opposite of this week in week out for Spurs then you know Poch‘s time was up ... but also that Kane has the quality to perform once again for Spurs under new management. It’s not as if we’ve sacked Poch and left the new manager to inherit a bunch of useless twats... we’ve some fantastic players and highly talented youngsters at the club, plenty of reasons to be optimistic for the future depending on who we bring in.

Honestly. I am not sure how I feel about Jose, but you dont honestly think that Levy will suddenly go all doe eyed over him and start buying 30 year olds for 40million do you?
I don't think they'll be much of plan. I don't think they'll be a project. Doubt they'll be much of philosophy. Nothing will be long term. Certainly they'll be no more kids getting in the team, no more plucking a Dele or a Kane from relative obscurity.

We'll be playing the same game as the other top six, by their rules and so we should expect to lose as they have greater resources. So 6th then. Consistently. Maybe a league cup. Great.

Can’t ever see myself loving a manager the way I loved Poch.

Mourinho could win the treble ad he’d still be Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho.

If he came here and won the treble would you seriously care? I don't care who the manager is as long as they're successful.

Tottenham Hotspur first and foremost.

I really dont like the way Poch was not backed for 2 TWs and now Enic blame him for net getting the best out of some players who are clearly past their use by date.

The board must accept some responsibility for this situation.

Not happy.
I think the Board just took responsibility.

Am gutted. The man has delivered by far the best years of my spurs supporting life. He gave us our club back and gave us so many memories along the way.

That said, I think it’s the right time for everyone, not least Poch, he needs a good break away from the game. And for us, it seems things were broken beyond repairand could have potentially got far worse (Kane) before it got better. Seems like we have someone, Jose, lined up and regardless of what you think of him, he’s inheriting a good squad and if he’s motivated it could be a real success.

thank you Poch.
