4 bad months in 5 years, and in a year we reached the CL final.

Unbelievable to see so much people wanting him to go.

We've been progressing every year since he was appointed. A couple of bad months won't change that. He can have a bad season.
He stayed when Real Madrid wanted him and some of you want to repay that faith letting him go after a couple of bad months.
We really haven't. We peaked that season when we challenged Chelsea for the title.

I personally don’t want him rid. I will back him totally. But as I said earlier; if we only achieve 1 point in our next 2 games, then sorry he goes. Nobody more than me want him to succeed. On a tactical front he is seriously lacking. It is not just Trippier who felt that. Read between the lines of his comments. Quite a few of the present players are miffed at his tactics.

Back him totally unless he gets 1 point over the next two games? Not really backing him totally is it?

I am sure you can take it in context. Can you not? I have backed him, and still do (totally) and hope we acquire 4-6 points next 2 games. If he only acquires 1 point I cannot then continue to back him.

I think that is a big contradiction.

We are in a considerably good position in the CL, and I don't think there's any risk of relegation at the moment (and even if we only get 1 point from the next 2 games). Changing the manager won't get us magically top 4. So imo there's no point changing him right now. The only reason he should leave is if we are risking relegation

Trippier left because he felt Poch was lacking in the tactical front? That's some arrogance, considering how tactically inept he is. But it coincides with his attitude on the pitch where he was always pointing the finger at othe others for his mistakes

I agree re Trippier. I rather use examples of a player who left than present players. I have wholeheartedly backed Poch, and gave reasons why he was struggling etc. I won’t repeat them now. I also argued his diamond, which in fairness he has tried to be flexible away from it. Nobody wants him to prove certain people wrong then myself. I so want him to be a huge mega success, and feel he has been left hung out dry. I don’t want to see this great club in a more of 1 point away from relegation zone in two games time. Sure that makes sense?

I wouldn't worry about Trippier or what he's said, my concern is that the current players are doubting his tactical nous.
There are plenty of whispers that this is happening, which is a massive problem.

If the players no longer buy in to his ideas and are sick of the sound of his voice, we're in the shit.

A couple of months, more like 10 months. In 2019 he has been in the bottom 3 worst managers in the Premier League, we are in November......that’s pretty bad to be fair.

If he continues for the next 6 months, the same as he has the last 10, then there is a very really possibility of Tottenham Hotspur being in the Championship next year.

Been chatting to my old man about this. He said if mourinho came in that'll be the end of his 64 years of supporting us. He hates Jose that much.

If it means we win something then I don’t care which of the fans back him or not. my old man would be the same as yours but so what we need a manager who knows how to get teams over the line. Not many better in the history of football managers than Jose.

Take that with a mountain of salt the size of mount everest. Plus, IF(massive IF) people like that do stop supporting Spurs, they'd all be back if Mourinho won us a trophy so it means nothing.

Yeah not my old man, he despises mourinho. I can see other people doing it though.

not sure your right on the old timers. Mourinho, as good as he is, does not embody the old school Spurs way. They may support, but not in the same way. It may be like a spouse cheating on you.

as someone who spent the majority of me life as a Spurs fan in the States with few mates knowing squat about English football/soccer much less the Spurs culture/cult, Billy Nick was the gold standard. Success yes, but with flourish. If someone coming in would have success without flourish, then i'd take a pass. That is my struggle with Poch. I'd rather take a chance on flourish with the potential for success any day. but then again, i may be in the minority these days.

Yeah but CL was 'luck' and down to the players only apparently.. so sacking him 12 league games after is what 'winners' do, and of course Jose is a cast iron guarantee of trophies, even with Aurier at RB, and there's no chance of him turning us into even more of a dumpster fire..

I presume you mean because we reached the CL final last season we have progressed? Because we haven't progressed in the league. See below.

2015/16 - 70 points
2016/17 - 86 points
2017/18 - 77 points
2018/19 - 71 points

why do you want to keep him if you think he’s tactically lacking? ?
