Sorry mate what fatigue there was no tournament during the summer and we are only 12 games in I didn't see any fatigue issues with Liverpool yesterday.
His training sessions and conditioning for one. Hes famed for mega hard fitness and gruelling methods. Off the back of 2 seasons and a wc. 1 summer isnt enough to recover with a relatively small squad. Look.at the thigh strain and groin injuries suffered by Ndombele and locelso, not used to it. Anyway, maybe I'm clutching at straws, but theres a mental problem aswell. Their focus and.energy has just vanished. Its reminiscent of when he first started.

Ornstein in The Athletic wrote some stuff about Bayern's search for a new manager. Poch is the main target for them.

As things stand, a sense from within the game is that Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino is a prime target, though if the Argentine became available, there would many interested parties.“Pochettino would be the preferred solution,” The Athletic is told.

“If he and Spurs end up splitting, which looks likely, Bayern will do anything to get him. On the other hand, that’s what everyone would do, even Real Madrid and probably Manchester United, who have been aiming at him for a year and a half now. It’s a very difficult option, but that would be Bayern’s priority.”

Also, as things stands right now, Guardiola might not stay in Manchester for next season which would mean that next summer will be massive in terms of managers.

Maybe that's why us, United, Arsenal and Bayern are delaying big decisions.

Look it all down to a matter of opinion I suppose but to suggest it’s complete bollocks that these players are not as good as they used to be is laughable.
Dier, Toby, Jan, Rose, Alli, Eriksen are shadows of their former selfs and it’s not something that has happened over night

Yet five of them were instrumental in getting us to the CL final lol.

Have a day off

And we've basically got the same squad we had 4 or 5 years ago so they're all 4 or 5 years older. I don't know that he's lost the dressing room per se but the pressing and intensity/hunger has completed vanished.

It sounds like Bayern don't want Poch enough to buy him out of his contract but they'd gladly take him "on a free" as it were. As if Levy's going to write that amount of money off.

Also, Guardiola only wins when he has 100s of millions to spend. He did well with the Barcelona B team years ago but other than that he's been bankrolled to the hilt everywhere he's gone. He would have Levy in tears on his first day.

And we won't be in the future if we continue on the path we're heading.

And there's about a year difference between them btw.

In terms of management ? If your referring to Klopp who has more high level experience plus managed teams with a history in winning. I’m not sure how many finals Klopp lost or how long it took for him to win his first trophy

What’s the point in wanting the best manager we’ve had since the 60s when the problem is the chairman though?

Liverpool transfer incoming value each year since Klopp has been in charge:

16/17- €80m
17/18 - €173m
18/19 - €182m
19/20 - €2m

Total €437m

Tottenham transfer incoming value each year since Klopp took over Liverpool:

16/17 - £75m
17/18- £109m
18/19- £0m
19/20- £102m

Add the rest of the Lo Celso money which is rumoured to be around £43.2m we've committed to spending if we make the option permanent:

Total - £329.2m (converted into Euros = €382.03m)

When we look at the figures being spent on quality coming in, our numbers aren't too far off of Klopps numbers really. Current day currency conversion rates make it roughly €54.97 difference (in pounds £47m) for the same duration.

Money has been spent, just not as well as Liverpool have spent it under Klopp it seems. Is this the chairmans fault or the manager, one you claim is the best we've had since the 1960s fault?

Again, it’s simply more likely that press people, including former players, can see what a good job Poch has done with limited finances at our club.

For instance, some of our more entitled fans wrote off our CL final as nothing to do with Poch and mere luck. I doubt anyone in the game thinks of it that way and so in their eyes Poch has significant leeway as nobody expected to see Spurs in a CL final ever.

It’s fine to have your opinion but don’t be too surprised if people that have seen (and reported on) many more managers come and go and appreciate the enormity of Poch’s achievements aren’t screaming for us to ditch him at the first sign of adversity.

Mate we're 14th in the league after 12 games. There's more than enough to talk about.

FFS, we would have won over both Everton and Sheffield United if only we had a bit more luck, signed somebody in 2018 and also a ref that wasn't as useless and remember that we are playing on a new stadium too.

On the bright side I'm no longer annoyed about dropping 3 points at home to Newcastle, there's no way those points are gonna cost us CL.

Us being shit doesn't make print.

Us selling/not selling our best players does - yet now we should have moved those players who want out earlier ... Really?

We need to think like a big club and back our manager - we back our manager but now?

It's easy to sit there and cherry pick your arguments about the media and fans views in an ivory tower, we're not news now.

Where are all the links to those big clubs Poch could do wonders for now then?

Your attitude on here is tiresome some times.
meh, meh and a further double portion of meh. I'll bet thirty two of my testicles that if I searched Pochettino to Madrid I'd find several fairly recent articles, or 'Spurs form' it's out there if you WANT to see it.

When the media say something about Spurs it's agenda, when they don't it's agenda too. What rubbish, you can't have it both ways, that's world class levels of paranoia or just rank stupidity and given that the stuff you say isn't there actually is, you decide.

My attitude is solely based on the ridiculous and idiotic crap that you (and some others) have a hard on for inflicting on people. You make stuff up without thinking about it and its fucking boring not to mention often ridiculous. And I'm tiresome :D

I find this argument very lazy tbh, same when its aimed at Jose.
They're elite managers, the fact is they're in such demand so they are always wanted by the worlds biggest clubs, who just so happen to have almost limitless amounts to spend.

Their records have earned them the right to spend big.
This is part of what makes the idea of Jose at Spurs so damn interesting.
