Another Saturday evening ruined.

I’m way past it ruining my evening. I have no expectation anymore, even to the point that at the game, even though I’m obviously wanting us to score in injury time, I’m way less willing it on than I used to as ultimately I’m thinking that it will make fuck all difference.

We’ve gone beyond the point where I think a hard fought win will spark a turn of form and a winning run with anything tangible at the end.

A bit sad, but that’s how it feels to me.

Jesus Christ, Sheff United 'a top, top team'?!

We're fucked!
They’re 6th mate, haven’t lost away all year, they beat arsenal, drew away to Chelsea and only lost by one goal to Leicester and Liverpool and deserved more in both games so yes I’d say right now they’re a very good side, just because they don’t have big flash signings and we’re recently promoted doesn’t mean they can’t be a very good side, watch them play, they’re so well coached and have a very effective unique way of playing. I don’t think they’ll keep it up all year and that’s where teams like us can take advantage over the course of a whole season but right now they’re a good team and we are a mid table one trying to get back to the level we should be.

So thats now 13 points dropped from winning positions? Leicester, Liverpool, City, Everton, Arsenal and today? All games we were leading.

I’ve no idea what I make of today’s game.. in small patches I thought we played ok. However large parts of the game was same old same old rubbish. Overall very disappointing after the red star game. We look a team completely devoid of confidence.. I’m not sure how we can change that around as just don’t look like being able to win a game.

We need two pacy FBs and a dynamic DM in January to save our season .

It's more than rare to sign someone who can make a real difference in January. Someone has to try to make a change with this squad we have. Rather sooner than later. And even if we sign someone in Jan, it would take months before Poch will give him/them enough time on the pitch...

Agree with this 100%, earlier in the year it was terrible and I couldn’t see signs of improvement but lo celso looked good, dier and Sanchez did pretty well, ndombele is settling in well and sheff Utd are a top top slide this year so given that we are still finding our feet I definitely can see the positives.

team moving forwards should be:
Gazza

foyth
Dier
Sanchez
Sessengon/rose

ndombele
Sissoko

lo celso
Dele
Son

kane

areas to improve in transfer window:
back up RB
CB
LB
AM
Whoosh.

Had the match on in the background while doing some home maintenance. But even though I just glanced at the match every 5 min it looked pretty much as it has done in the PL the last 12 months.

We had loads of possession but we weren't able to create much and every time the opponent tried to counter we looked terrified and disorganised.

Currently watching Bayern - Dortmund. It's like watching a different sport to the one this Spurs team is playing.

Bayern look a different team since they got rid of their manager. Almost as if a cloud has lifted.

Leicester just scored a Tottenham style goal.

My day is now about cheering against Arsenal like a proper Spurs fan.

Getting so bored of these players. Half hearted. Looked so sluggish. Poch simply can’t continue. Same turgid shit since the opening game of last season.
And VAR has ruined the game altogether. Left the game on 75 mins. Have never done anything like that before. Not so sure I wanna go back.

There’s nothing worse than an apathetic fan base and I feel like many of us are there

Not angry not excited not expectant but indifferent to a run of form of a listless team led by a listless manager

Chelsea may not sustain their run but at least fans have something to look forward to. Same with Leicester and a host of clubs above us

Spurs fans? Not so much

Exactly the same as me.

I know the season is done under Poch. It wouldn't of mattered one jot had we won.

Poch has basically turned into second season AVB.

We’ve gone from being one of the most exciting football teams in Europe to the most boring and predictable.
