Spurs have Ajax keeper Andre Onana at the top of their wish list to replace Hugo Lloris. The athletic and skilful Cameroon international first caught the eye of Tottenham in their Champions League clashes last season.

I like Gazzaniga - think he’s consistent, calm and can also pull off some great saves. Don’t think we need a first team keeper. A support one is fine. Hugo never fills me with confidence - always seems to to be on the verge of a clanger.

Besides Zakaria, what defensive midfielders have we been linked to? I don't think Zakaria is even a pure DM is he?

I would assume, if there were any truth in this, that he would be brought in with a view to being our #1
