No. Just like he wont have been sacked when we're still talking about this shit a month from now. It's baffling that the club seem no closer to making a change now than we were before the season started. Levy's negligence here is staggering considering he's sacked managers for less.

Make the change already. Put McDermott and Mason in charge for Red Star and appoint Mourinho/Allegri for Sheffield.
Mourinho/Allegri - are you are sure that they would be able to work together?

Told you it was controversial.
I see those fans that travel home and away, as being the true supporters of the club, other as fans/followers of the club.

So you see people who have a healthy disposable income as the only supporters of the club?

I despise attitudes of self-entitlement - What a load of old tosh about away supporters being the only "real" supporters. I guess I might as well stop buying my shirt every season and give up my ticket to the next home game to a "real" supporter. Condescending much!

Feel there is a massive difference between what is often described as a quiet and often negative home fan base, and what is usually described as excellent away support. Our away crowd almost always gets described as support not fans.

What? Some people dont have the means to follow the club to every single city theres a game in.

And some have only been fans since we signed Clint Dempsey (your words) but act like you've lived through the last 40 years.

I'm hoping we haven't become a club who is snuggly warm in our nearly men status. It seems with Poch we've found the ultimate nearly man, and a manager a lot of fans are worried about losing because this is the best we can expect.

For me, this isn't the best we should expect. We shouldn't have to settle for this, because if we do, it shows we are happy to be where we are, but scared of rolling the dice and becoming a truly big club...who wins things.

Top 4, check. CL, check, a couple of semi-finals, check. This is what we were all dreaming of for years, and now we've got it, it seems a majority of us are comfortable with our new status and scared of making that next leap.

We can tread water for another 5 years, doing the same, rolling along like we always have, or we can make a statement and go balls out for an actual world class manager. I'm certain that it will take us someone like Mourinho, for the short or long term, to elevate us into that club that does hire the best managers and buy the best players, and I think Mourinho would command that level of improvement from both the players and the owners.

I'm sick of seeing us constantly capitulate, be it the disappointment of not getting top 4, to lasagne-gate, to losing semi-finals, to not winning the CL when it was there for the taking. Is this always going to be us?

Poch for the moment is perfect, he's nearly good enough, our team is nearly good enough, the owners are nearly good enough and 60% of us, judging by the poll, are happy with it. I'm just not anymore.

Entitled? Why not? Why shouldn't we expect to win something after all these years of foundations, building and developing, otherwise what are we here for? Just to make up the numbers and give the other big clubs something to constantly laugh at? Big clubs do feel entitled and that's why we always take the piss out of ManU and Liverpool, as they expect their team to perform and win stuff. Guess what? They do.

We are just West Ham with more money at the moment. A club you can guarantee will let you down in the end. I want better now.

A little while ago our squad had the highest value squad in the world, with the best defence, a golden boot winner, and our golden age. We've now added the best stadium and the best training complex. Why are we settling for a manager who is getting worse as we are getting better? I don't have faith anymore. It's time we pulled up a chair at the big table.

We should be aiming at winning the league. Not looking at a potential relegation season. Mourinho was a failure for finishing second. We're happy with scraping 4th. As a fanbase we need to start setting our expectations higher.

Brilliant post.

Generally I'm an advocate for patience, but as others have said this isn't a few bad results. This is 9 months of largely poor results and poor performances masked by a Champions League run that I think even the most optimistic fan would describe as having a hint of luck about it.

The worrying thing for me is that it doesn't look like a lot is being tried and the players aren't reacting.

Yes I think some of the players are not helping the situation, but that's something for the manager to deal with.

The mitigating factor is how much you blame Levy for our situation, and we could argue about that for ages I'm sure.

But either way Poch isn't getting the best out of some very good players, and hasn't been for a while. Unless that changes very quickly, I don't see how we improve with Poch in charge.

The fact he has not gone just sums up Levy ambitions! why sack his puppet.
We need to write this season off as mid table and see what happens in the summer - we go 2 ways - we turn into a midtable side with a big shiny stadium (but he has NFL now, why does he care) or he invests and we push on for top 4 again
either way, Levy is the problem here - he simply does not care, the fact he has not sacked him just cements this

In the summer you lot wanted Levy to back Poch, this is exactly what he's doing.

You can't have it both ways.

In my opinion, everything that happens from here on is on Levy's fault, however, he has backed Poch this year. Lets hope he can find it within himself to do the right thing.

For those Poch backers who have given him until Christmas to turn things around, or even till the end of season to rebuild the next one calling for the need of Levy to back him with his choice of players, there is also every possible chance Poch may not stay at these two junctures given the opportunity of calling from a big club.

I think we can't deny the fact that Poch will be more tempted than before to leave when doors are opened for him. The risk of him leaving us in a mess halfway (not that it is not messy enough already) is as much as getting a new Manager to replace him at any point of the season now and faced with uncertainty.

Just throwing it out loud. It works both ways.

Definitely - that doesn't mean that valid criticism isn't warranted though.
