Er that midfield would be suicide defensively

Spot on. We don’t need another creative midfielder - not for the starting lineup, anyway. We need a defensive midfielder, someone to hold down the fort while Ndombele and Lo Celso go forward.

Once him and Ndombele are paired together with a good DM in a midfield 3, we will absolutely dominate teams and become a real force again.

Their technical ability, vision and ability to take the ball under pressure and beat the press will make us incredibly effective and dangerous.

Just need to find a Kante to sit behind them.

Had he stayed at Betis, I am sure he would have played almost every game, bar the games when he was injured. Our fitness level is a joke.

He needs to start the next game. Christ we already have November.
That is f***g ridiculous approach to fitness. I am starting to think, that Poch plays with Levy not selecting the new players, to show that they were bought later than he wanted. I can't find any reason in not selecting all of them to play.

How Eriksen is still starting over him is an actual disgrace.
He had no pre-season, got injured after a few weeks, and has had maybe max two weeks training since returning from injury. It's not ridiculous to think that he might not be fully up to speed yet.

Bet he's glad it is only a loan!
I was just thinking this.

We're all looking forward to him being Eriksen's replacement and to him being a good player for us in the next few years. But if this keeps up, at the end of the season he'll just say 'fuck this' and go back to Betis before being transferred somewhere else.

All this we bought them too late is absolute bollocks. Rolled out by clueless ex-pros masquerading as pundits.
Ndombele signed week before pre season.
Sessegnon signed with a hamstring injury which he had for a while. Could not have trained before window closed so nothing lost there.
Lo Celso...played in Copa America then had the obligatory 3 week break which took him to a week before season started.

Pretty sure we would have seen more of him tonight if we were still in this Carabao cup, this club annoys me.
