We can probably put an end to there being problems between the two of them. Sounds all fine here.

Depends how awkward the laughter was...

The noises coming out of the club all seem to be right currently, making me will for it to be turned around, but then the matches happen and performances seem to just be getting worse just when we expect a reaction. I know low confidence is a factor now, but surely there has to be more at play for it to be this bad?

Mate, I'm seeing my Dad's team S****horpe lanquishing at the trap door of the football league, with one win in 14 matches, and in serious danger of administration if we drop into the National League.

It really ain't that bad.

You sound like the fella that sits next to me saying he's been going to spurs for much longer than me and knows how much worse things can actually be (and then went on to stop watching the game after twenty minutes cos it was pissing him off so much).

It's irrelevant how bad it was with spurs in the 70s and 90s and how bad it is for S****horpe now. We have one of the best squads in the Europe and they're playing like a relegation threatened team at the moment. I'll always love poch but he has to be the man that takes the fall for this. It's not realistic to replace half the squad now. Previously he was getting this team to perform better than the sum of its parts. Now it's barely at half the sum.

That means nothing. What do you expect either of them to do in public other than act happy and positive? The proof is on the pitch. The lack of effort from Kane and every other player is shocking.

Klopps a great manager, but he still had a bad final season at Dortmund when they finished 7th. Just because Poch is having a bad run it doesn't mean that he isn't a great manager as well. It might mean that his time with us is over though. Don't forget that he's been working with one arm tied behind his back due to having to operate on a mostly net zero transfer policy until this season and also having to play a season and a half at Wembley.
Yep all true mate.

In fairness there's nothing unusual about their reaction at all, one way or the other.

Nobody is going to say shit publicily while all these problems are still up in the air.

Poch doesn’t haven’t an agent. Maybe there’s not such a huge compensation pay out if he’s sacked (n)

It’s the truth though, wish I could comment on loads of positives rather than negatives, but I can’t .... Facts

Reading your last post really puts it into perspective just how bad we've been.

And let's not forget the 3-1 against Leicester which flattered us big time. If I remember correctly they carved us open time and time again.

I meant honestly, if we did a little semi analysis of each league game since last January I think it would crystallise it for some people just how bad we've been.

The only way Poch saves his job is to put Tanganga, Skipp, Parrott, KWP in...if he's serious about this rebuild like he was back in 2014 when he dropped seniors and out young hungry players in, I suspect he isn't though and like the players he's lost his hunger.
I have been championing the academy for years and the truth due to years of neglect the quality levels aren't near that of 2014

Skipp and KWP definitely deserve a shot due to lack of players in their positions but Tanganga and Parrott are below the likes of Mason and Townsend

I thought both looked good from the very limited moments ive seen them, definitely have potential

Is it really going to be a huge payout? Would Levy really put himself in such a situation?

Unlikely to be a payout that pays up the rest of his contract in it's entirety.
Team underperforming, poor management of the media, that's just two things that Levy can use in negotiations to terminate the contract on his terms.
He'd probably get half the remaining contract paid up if Levy were to sack him now.

I don't agree we have "one of the best squads in Europe" far from it but I agree you can't replace half a team in one go but then it shouldn't have come to that. Quality players should have been added over the last couple of seasons one or two at a time in the same way Ferguson did and Klopp is doing now. The team structure and planning has taken a back seat in the last 3 or 4 years due to the new stadium which could become a white elephant if we become a middle table team. But lets see how the rest of the season turns out as it will only take a couple of good wins for it all to change and we get back on track. However our manager needs to change his tactics and team selection and prove he is the man that everybody thinks he is.

Sadly, as with everything that involves Levy, this will likely come down to money. We've sacked managers for far less in the past but they haven't been on long contracts. I suspect this will drag on and on before we finally bite the bullet once we're out of the CL and top 4 is barely possible.

As much as I love Poch for all that he's done, the writing is on the wall and we need to act quickly and decisively before we end up throwing away everything he's built over the past 5 years.

If Spurs keep going as they are they’ll turn into the next Monaco from a footballing perspective. Despite Monaco losing several decent players they still had a bloody good squad last season and a very decent squad this season... yet they narrowly avoided relegation last season and are languishing just above the relegation zone this season. Point is, it doesn’t matter how good your players look on paper... if the management is flawed and the players don’t try they won’t perform on the pitch. You can’t sack all of your players therefore you need a change of management, a fresh version and some squad adjustments (eg 2 competent full backs and a combative central midfield with technical ability - not Sissoko).
