Sorry Hank I disagree, one of my proudest moments as a Spurs fan was singing with a load of fellow Spurs fans in Madrid (Ronaldo Madrid)
Tottenham at the Bernabeu Arsenal watching Emmerdale, sheer joy
Mate an American is not gonna understand the rivalry and banter that comes with having a load of mates who all support different teams.
Singing that at gooners has been utterly joyful the last few years.

Even for the two days following Bayern when my phone was going off from my scum supporting mates there was plenty of fun to be had with them.

"Finally you guys have something to do on a Tuesday/Wednesday night, it's been a while!"

That shut em up.

Why didn't they just do this already. Then we might not be in such a fucking mess.
He (Poch) kept turning down players - wrong type of player, won't fit our style, etc etc. (The money was always there to spend as Levy is fully behind Poch. Allegedly of course.)

It’s fair what you say but what evidence is there for no one ever being able to rebuild after the “feeling” has gone?

Because it’s never happened at another top 6 PL club in the last decade. I can’t think of one manager that’s been in decline that’s turned it round long term.

What would a "big" club do if they lost 2-7 at home and then 3-0 to a bottom three team , have to ask Real Madrid, Barcelona , Bayern or Juventus board of directors.

Still at least we can laugh at somebody else in big trouble.

As the final Thomas Cook holidaymakers arrive back in Manchester, Ole Gunnar Solskjær asks if any of them are available to play against Liverpool next week.

To be honest dropping in to that wouldn’t be e worst the thing to happen. Give us a real shot at a trophy come the end of the season.
But when Tottenham does play in Europa League, it IS treated as the worst thing in the world and fans can't wait to be out of the competition. So it will only serve as yet another of very many excuses.
However, drop down to EL and hire Mourinho ... :troll:

Why are you so bothered about Arsenal? Lets get our own house in order and forget about them.

They don't really, plenty of examples where other players have taken time to settle in, it's not exclusive to us.

I think what makes a critical difference with new players is the team they're walking into.

Liverpool and City have been playing their tried and tested 4-3-3 for ages, they're well oiled machines with everyone clear on their role, it doesn't deviate really.

Were as we're all over the place, chopping and changing.

That's bound to affect integration of new players as there isn't a solid foundation in place.

Ndombele for Henderson in the Liverpool team, and you'd probably be seeing Ndombele up to speed quicker.

Usually because they get fired before they are given a chance to turn things around. It will take more than a few games or a few months to make changes. A season with a few TW's might be a better gauge.

That would Apply if this current regime and set of players were capable of winning trophies. Fact is they are immune to winning anything, so the Europa would be treated like a pile of shit by Poch as per usual and we would remain potless like we do every single season. Let’s get a serial winner in the hotseat and get the trophies this club deserve.

It's such a shame though, I used to be so excited about adding any decent player into what was already such a good well oiled machine. Kane, Son, Eriksen, Dele, Dembele, Dier etc. Now we have to find ourselves again as well as integrating new players.

JJ's comment's are positive though. I still see things on the pitch that I think are very wrong regardless of what players are available and that's my only worry with Poch at the moment but I find it hard to argue with the view of Poch being allowed the time to turn things around. It's not like this team doesn't have it's deficiencies, even if it should still be performing better.

I really hope that someone is making a log of all these negative, Poch out statements and conclusions that he can't save us and our season is done when we end up finishing 3rd or 4th and end up reaching the semi final of the FA Cup and everyone says how good a season it was considering the start.

All those people will look pretty stupid for writing off the manager in such dramatic fashion. All it will take is 3 wins in a row (not even great performances) for Spurs to be back in the mix and the media and fans to be putting pressure on Solsjaer, Lampard or Emery

We should be finishing 3rd or 4th though. We aren't over achieving by doing that.

And I do not see getting to the semi final of the FA Cup as an achievement. I do not care 1 bit of we get to the semi final. I couldn't tell you what teams lost in the FA cup semi final last season. We need to get out of the mindset that we are achieving things when we have absolutely fuck all to show for it
