whatever side of the opinion you are on, I simply don't see any way at all that DL will sack Poch and his backroom team and pay the necessary compensation, even if he wanted to which I very much doubt. The only way Poch goes is if he walks away, possibly following a call from Manure prior to them giving OGS the boot. Manure have the funds to pay us the compensation and are looking increasingly desperate themselves.

Imagine Levy goes from not wanting to pay him off and therefore keeping him to getting paid to get rid of him.

Tbh I really want him to sort it out, forget the stupid massive rebuild he reckons we need, fuck Eriksen off to the U23s until the Summer or January if it forces his hand into moving, bury the hatchet with Jan/Toby and use them ALONGSIDE Sanchez and Foyth to get the best out of all of them and start afresh with the squad he has.

The fact I want him to succeed is what annoys me most about him continually fucking the dog. I think he's too stubborn to go BACK to a past system as he wants to make the diamond work to vindicate himself, if we looked weak at the back but dangerous in attack it might not be so bad but we're leaky at the back and toothless in attack, there's no conviction in anything we do, which screams of the players having given up.

I'm rambling here, please turn it round Poch ???

Poch might get the boot with an extra few quid compo to not take another premier league job this season (maybe next).

Who cares about the American football - the team is not digging each other out there is no togetherness - he has to go back to basics the team and players are working as 3 individual units and not working together - do the simple things go back to 4-4-2 if you have to, Play the game longer get some crosses into the opposition box and work harder to stop balls coming into our box. to lines of 4 drop deep if you have to and bank up. Desperate times -desperate actions

The players have to look at themselves Lamela's effort to stop the cross coming into the box- Alderweireld tuning his back on the ball and allowing the young kid to shoot even then Dier should be covering him, one player makes a mistake and it's a clear run on our goal almost

These players and the manager have never faced adversity they do now and how they react after the last two games is a defining moment . Poch shouldn't go his earned another chance but those players need to get there acts together to many hiding and the capitulation in the week and the lack of fight yesterday suggest that there are some ill feelings amongst them

I do still believe though that DL will more likely give Poch money to spend than almost any other manager that can be named.
That seems to be the pattern. Evident from summer when four players were signed—only one of them used much so far— while several others departed for modest sums to new clubs. Like the £6m plus for Janssen, nearly £5m for Nkoudou, and £20m for Trippier that assisted those departures. Likewise in the case of Josh Onomah who moved to Fulham as part of the deal for Sessegnon. Five other players on the books left Tottenham for undisclosed fees. Also released at end of their contracts were Michel Vorm, and Fernando Llorente who it was nice to see come on late and score for Napoli against Liverpool the other week. Aurier was a presumed departure, as was Wanyama, and Danny Rose another, though none left for whatever reason, although a couple of them might go in January.

So what nobody can say of Levy and Pochettino is that they haven't recognised what's needed, or that they haven't recognised what they have to play along with for another few months at least, which others might be put up for transfer, and possible replacements for them. They're astute individuals, calm, analytical, and progressive, and have determined to really make something of Tottenham.

Dybala came within a whisker of being signed, but complications over image rights he'd signed away and couldn't easily shake off got in the way. If that gets cleared up it's possible another attempt will be made to sign him. There'll be the tiresome, bogus, click-bait online rumours about Spurs being interested in a few dozen named players, but sensible people know that's all they are and so don't get all wound up over them. Spurs will make two or three signings though, perhaps one of them in January as a couple of Spurs players are moved on. Levy seems to trust Poch's assessment of players of interest and will put still more money in that direction.

In the short term, we have the problem of crisis at Manchester United and the attempts of their agents in the media to move Poch to our rivals. Every time there's a managerial crisis at Real Madrid, the same kind of pressure is put on our club. And if something similar happens at the likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich, any of the ambitious clubs, then Poch will be targeted yet again. That's the project of our rivals — distance and try to separate Pochettino from Tottenham Hotspur. He could end up rebuilding Spurs teams as many times as legendary managers at other clubs rebuilt theirs.

Poch with do wonders with ManU current squad.

Poch desired of style of play as we saw during our early years under him was for energetic pressing play . This works with younger players but as players age, they just cannot keep up. That is why I feel we are suffering under him now.

If you look at our squad, any player that gets injured just cannot get back in to the team. Other teams get players injured and come back and fit in. Our players get injured and just become turd. Wanyama and Dier both went from beast to bums . Even Kane is no longer the same Kane at his prime. He still scores but not as convincing as he use to be and his general overall play has dipped. Ali appears to be following this path. Lamela was is the only one so far that has come back with any credit. But when he came back he was so crap. I think it has to do with the high energy required. Poch has no plan B. He been tinkering with the formation to compensate for it and it is failing him . Sissoko , Son and Moura are the 3 that can keep up with this requirements.

ManU with so many young players all with EPL experience would fit Poch for the next few years.

Our best season under Poch was when we played Erikson on the left, Ali in the middle, Son on the right behind Kane with Dier sitting back. I wonder why he does not play this anymore.

The idea that if Poch stays that Levy will oversee some kind of major squad overhaul in January is just not based on reality
