When you start a player who wants to get away from the club you're setting the tone for the rest of the players.

Lucas should be starting ahead of him every day of the week.

He had two options..

Leave the club by producing non existent performances and undoing any sort of legacy he could have left.

Or

You leave like Aaron Ramsey playing at the same level as you have done throughout your time with the club and at the end of the season leaving the club with the entire ground singing your name.

Let's see which option Christian has decided to take..
We’ve seen it. Did t show up in our 2 biggest games last season and hasn’t done much of note since this season kicked off

But but but he doesn’t care.....

Seriously he gave the ball away nearly ever ocasion he tried a forward pass. Absolutely joke today and has been for 12months. We are playing with 10 plyaers with him on pitch. Should be nowhere near the squad im afraid. Pack your bags in Janurary.

No 10's or creative midfielders always tend to run the most because they are always on their toes trying to create space, that stat needs a massive dose of context.

I remember similar things were said about Ozil as well.

I'm sick of eriksen, I have been for about a year. Glides in but mostly out of games these days. The way he is now I wouldn't even want him on the bench never mind giving him a full 90. Unfortunately lo celso picked up the injury so he's currently in the team. Hopefully we'll be able to move him in January as he clearly doesn't want to be here

I absolutely hate this ****. Fuck him. I never want to see him play for us again.

I wish the Vertonghen story was true

Easily his worst run of form at the club, never mind making killer passes he cannot make simple ones. As for referencing the yards he covers, maybe he would be better conserving energy for when its needed, its not like he puts in a tackle after covering ground? Needs to be dropped, you want out then into the reserves you go, wont be missed on currrent form anyway, give someone like Moura a few games, at least he wants to be here.

I was 12 when Modric left, 13 when Bale left. I disliked them for a year or two for the way they left but damn Eriksen is showing me what true lack of effort looks like. Real came to those two and if anything they stepped it up. Eriksen got a sniff of Real and just called it a day, haven’t been impressed with an eriksen performance since Everton away last season. Of all the players who’re leaving soon, I hope the age old ‘grass isn’t always greener’ hits him hardest

He's be open about wanting to leave, and you cant blame him from not going. When you've desired a move away and the club is keeping hold of you. What more can he do?. The ball is firmly in Levy's court to get this sorted.

If someone had offered a reasonable, or indeed any, fee then we would have sold.
But he's actually not that high up anyone's wanted list so despite his dreams he went nowhere - and unfortunately stopped playing and caring.
Can't blame Levy for that.

Don't understand why we are still playing him at the moment. He can be quite the fair weather player at the best of times (albeit it an excellent player when times are good) but right now he is one of many not committed to the team and just doing enough to not be completely terrible.

He needs to sit out, both to clear his mind but not to distract Poch. We need strong characters on the pitch right now and Eriksen is not that this season.
