1-3 weeks in a split followed by the same time again doing motion exercises, so probably looking at up to 6 weeks before he can start training, and even then it'll have to be managed to avoid a recurrence. I would suggest we'll see him by Christmas, but not much before. Mid December I'd say.
You forgot to factor in the Spurs medical team, so probably more like March 2023.

I know they have no excuses for today’s result but when you’re in our run and this happens 3 mins in... I mean you can slightly understand how demoralising that must be.

We desperately needed the first goal today, we didn’t even get a chance to grow into the game

To be honest, after I noticed how serious Lloris injury looked, I really couldn't care less about the outcome of the game.

I think the online recovery times don’t really consider goalkeepers that are constantly throwing themselves around etc. with the potential to land on it.

Associated ligament and tendon damage may mean that the joint isn’t going to be as stable without surgical intervention.

Nasty injury ?

Vorm? Gazzaniga Mark 2, no thanks

Don’t know how many times I have to put this on this site,

Michel has serious issues with his knees and mobility he would struggle to pass a medical anywhere and there’s a reason we released him and Paulo overtook him with ease

This could go either way. A dislocation like that could be relatively easy and quick to fix, or it could be a very long recovery. I don't have any experience of elbows but I dislocated my knee nearly 40 years ago and it's never been the same since.

For a future first choice keeper I’d like Onana from Ajax.

He’s come through the Barca academy and then obviously Ajax so he’s adept at playing with the ball at his feet and playing out from the back. Going from Lloris level distribution to distribution on par with Ederson will hugely help us.

Not to mention he’s just a great shot stopper too and commands his area well. Plus good relationship with Ajax should help ease negotiations hopefully

The trouble can also be the mental effect. I dislocated my shoulder falling down some stairs. Although it felt better as n soon as they popped it back in, I've never had the same range of movement. However I've also been slightly scared to use the same range of movement that I always did. The physio told me that once you have dislocated something you are 50% more likely to keep on doing it. That might be at the back of Lloris' mind every time he jumps ip for a ball or rushes out or dives. He'll begin to second guess himself.
I used to be a keeper at semi pro, level and discolated my shoulder hitting a goal post, was out for two months, did it two further times within twelve months and had to pack it in. An elbow is a much more complicated joint so I think at his age he is pretty much finished as a top keeper.
He has been hesitant in his decision making for the last twelve months, yesterday was a prime example. He, like many of our outfield players is good when they don't have time to think, but ends up in two minds with time. It was a simple tap over the bar.
In my mind his problems really started after his drink driving debacle and just maybe its coincidence, but that also coincided with our form being pretty shit since

Dislocated my shoulder skateboarding, then went on to pop it about 9 more times before the NHS finally decided to operate on it.
Even after surgery, movement has always been restricted and certain movements make it slip about a bit.
There is certainly a confidence thing going to be involved in this.

I think the biggest issue to how long Hugo will be out for will be the amount of soft tissue damage occurred when dislocating his elbow.

Fingers crossed that the dislocation caused no nerve damage, because if it did then that could be a career ender for a goal keeper.
