If he stays, then he needs to ostracize Toby, Jan, Rose, Eriksen, Serge, and Wanyama. They are not pulling their weight and need to be fully dropped. Dele to an extent solely because I dont believe he is committed to football.

I'd terminate eriksen's and Toby's contracts in Jan and just let them go. For the sake of a few months wages it would remove some of the disruptive influences.

Levy has got to accept that a player is only worth what another club will pay for them, not what he values them at. I'd let wanyama go for free in Jan too.

If we're out if the running for CL come the transfer window, but safe in the league, then we need to start the clear out ASAP. Promote some of the younger players to fill the gaps and start the rebuilding process.

No rescuing this season with this squad.

Nonsense mate. You've become deluded. Under a new manager this squad can easily secure third. You've allowed yourself to believe that we've got loads of shit players, when actually we've just got a manager who has lost the plot, and the players.

I think when Toby starts playing shit like he has, you know the manager has to go. Even the most dependable players start playing like shit.
Players don't get a pass, sorry. That was league one defending today against a 19 year old full game debutant, you can stick your knife in all you want, these players have to shoulder blame as well.

Really sad that it ends like this but as much as we all love Pochettino this can't go on, he should of walked last summer out of self-respect when no signings were made & again this summer if he wasn't happy. I said when Real job was their for him he had made a big mistake & might not get chance to get it again.. I hope for his sake he takes some time off to refresh before he takes another job.. Levy should go as well, at least from transfers & contracts.. he's messed up big time

He’s done it before when it’s necessary. Thinking of the Jan we resigned Defoe

But we need to spend £150m plus to replace the players that want to leave or can leave. I can't see Levy sanctioning a spending spree of that amount in January.

The players are aging, lost a step or 2 snd offer nothing. Poch over this lot every time. Fuck this squad

The players are ageing and half of them are out of contract at the end of the season anyway. It'd be absolute madness to side with the players and sack Poch.

Levy is the master of the false economy. Save a penny, miss out on a pound. Levy would rather dick Dukla Prague about over the structure of a £250,000 player transfer than solve a problem for the greatest manager that he has ever hired. Levy can't and won't change. In that sense I intensely sympathise with Poch. Where my sympathy runs dry is that he hasn't done the principled thing and given Levy an ultimatum. If you cover for DL then I can't help but feel that you own your failures. Poch has known emphatically what DL is all about, so why expect him to help you in any way? Its pure naivety or a lack of courage. Poch is the architect of this shambles because he has consented to it every step of the way.

The worst part is that his authority and leverage is now shot. He can't lay down the law to Levy now because DL can sack Poch and seem entirely justified.

It does look precarious now. He has to practice what he preaches now, bravery - and a fuckload of it. As a starting point we need eleven players on the pitch who will run hard and fight for the cause. That might mean dropping some of the golden boys, playing unpopular players, or even a team full of kids. It might mean Poch coming out and saying that he's been forced into it and things might get worse before they get better. But if he sticks with the main group of players then he is just going to get the sack because after numerous chances he has got no response from them, and whilst I hope they do I don't envisage them "seeing the light" at the 11th hour and pulling their fingers out.

There's of course a shitload more on top of that which needs fixing, but going back to basics and establishing a foundation of hard work and a team that will give 110% might buy him more time.

I think you have it 100%
I am firmly with Poch and my only doubt was today when I looked at the team sheet and saw all the old guard.
He knows we need to change so let's change - put in Moura, Sanchez, Foyth

We demand "loyalty" when we're doing well and expect him to tell the best club in the world he's not interested in them but as soon as there's a rough patch he's not good enough and should be sacked.

Anyone calling for him to go is a complete hypocrite if they ever talk about player/manager loyalty again.

Yeah, things are bad. Yeah, Poch is getting it wrong. The players have contributed to the problems. Levy's contributed to the problems. But it feels you've all forgotten the 20+ years of a new manager every season and finishing 10th. As the song says, Poch DOES have that magic about him to bring the best out of a group of players and I'm confident it just needs time to refresh the team, integrate the new signings and settle the team again.

THIS.

Poch has during the last 5 year earned that we back him now. Right now

It's funny how so many of you think this is not Pochs fault.

I can't name them for obvious reason but I would wager if you knew which players agents I was getting my info from you'd probably have a different opinion.

Would not surprise me if his period for Spurs will be the highlight in his career.

He had FANTASTIC players in Kane, Alli, Son, Eriksen, Jan, Hugo, Toby and Dembele for almost his entire stint here and won nothing.

Will be interesting to see where his career goes from here.

I suspect Poch's relationship broke down somewhat with Levy in the summer of 2018, despite reports that all was hunky-dory.

Since then, Poch has been giving all sorts of strange messages in the media, the worst of which came before the CL final.

Unfortunately, his era at the club is all but over now.

It's really sad, but our decline has been so spectacular that I don't really see him turning it around with these players. Top 4 looks extremely unlikely for this season already. If I knew the chairman would support him in wholesale changes I'd say stick with him, but that won't happen. whoever is going to be manager is going to have to make a success of the existing squad more or less, and Poch isn't going to do that, I'm afraid.

It is Poch’s fault!
Everybody in the football world, well most people like agents, friends of players etc, will tell you players not with him. His moods, lack of tactical training etc, and much more. I can’t see this ending well. My own opinion is if there was an available manager with the right credentials was not only available, but willing to come, I think possibly would force the hands of the board.

The time has definitely come for there to be a change. This has been going on for 10 months. Terrible performance after terrible performance. He clearly hasn’t got what it takes to motivate or get them playing in any sort of pattern. I’d rather make the decision and change now before our top 6 chances disappear for good.

Two ITK's already saying it's Poch faulth.

The Levy-problem is just another problem.

Now we can finally close that discussion.

When you put it like that my first thought is Kane

It makes me laugh that people seem to think our judgement makes a difference here.

Whether want to be loyal or not is absolutely secondary to relationship between manager and playing squad which in turn is the driving factor in whether people further up the hierarchy make the decision to part ways or not.

We have MASSIVE issues which are manifesting on the pitch and ultimately in results and regardless of what has preceded, it cannot continue.

Mourinho is literally working for Sky, couldn’t be more available. He would be insane to not want to come, whether or not it would work out we would only know after his appointment.
