I’m still undecided to be honest, I’m more annoyed with the players.
IF poch does stay he has to make big changes to the personal, demote the bad eggs and play players who want to be here and play for the shirt
I totally agree with this. Confidence in football is so important. We have none at the moment. I’m not sure if this is linked to our sudden inability to control the ball play passes accurately to teammates. Everything is ‘off’ at the moment, and I’m not sure if this is down to some players not wanting to fight anymore, bad luck or a combination of both.
It’s very strange.

Get a grip it’s only football. It happens to most clubs these days and right now it’s our turn. Suck it up and move on. I’m sure your WhatsApp groups and Facebook timeline will be full of hilarious and original memes but so fucking what? The players clearly don’t give a shit about us so why should we care about them?

If the rumours are true that they’ve turned on Poch and are now refusing to put the effort in then they need to get out of the club too. Arseholes, the lot of them. Absolute wimps.

While i agree with the start and conclusion of your post, i doubt the players are refusing to put out the effort. You most likely played the game and know that when you are on the pitch, it's personal and when you are in the heat of battle, it doesn't matter who the coach is. Perhaps they aren't digging as deep as they had in the past to make that recovering run or going hard on a 40-60 ball, and if that's your point, you are probably dead on.

Poch will go somewhere else and win multiple trophies, while we'll be competing with Leicester and Everton for euro vase under Eddie howe in a half empty stadium that we can't afford
He probably will but can you see him turning things round here & winning things with us? I didn't want him sacked but that 1st half today was shocking. No positives at all & that's off the back of a 7-2 thrashing at home & today playing a relegation threatened team also under pressure. There was no response from us & i can't see what poch can do to get one in the next game

Maybe part of the reason they want to leave is because everything has gone stale and the tactics aren't working.

New mangers rejuvenate players all the time. Unfavoured players are brought back into the fold, training is completely fresh and different and the whole feel around a club changes. If we brought in someone like Allegri and started playing like a real coherent unit that could win things, I honestly wouldn't be that surprised if Eriksen and/or Toby signed new deals and played something like their best again.

I would be hugely surprised and I would be very annoyed. When Toby joined us he was not even the best centre back at Southampton and came off a season playing back up at Ath. Madrid. Eriksen had spent season after season waiting to be picked up by European elite and they all said the same thing "he's weak, he's inconsistent". He even says he wants to leave to go to Real to win trophies after failing to win a single trophy with us as one of our leading players. The lack of appreciation for what Poch has done for their careers is astounding.
I wouldn't let them stay at Spurs if they paid the club to play.

I feel for you Poch, i will remember the good times, winning week in week out, controlling games, and never worrying about even the biggest games.

You're flaw was you trusted the players. These are not your friends, they'd no sooner leave you to get a kick in and go play FIFA or Fortnite.

Shame you couldn't see that as a group they've grown tired and stale, unfortunately with all the "never won anything" that was constantly trotted out by the media and picked up by every Spurs hater, somewhere along the way there has been a disconnect between you and the players.

And now sooner than put the work in they'd rather just take the cheque and hope a new manager will pick them. (at this or whatever club the end up at)

The fact that they were nobodies before you means nothing to them.

Maybe one day the realization that you were their best ever coach and Spurs was their best ever team will hit home for them and they'll realize what ****s they've been.

Cheers for making me proud to be a yid again, not just once every time the year ended in one but for most weeks of the season/s. (y)

If you think a lack of effort is the problem then I don't know what to say.
You don't think effort is a problem? 90% of the team is not putting a shift in and its not only disgraceful but unacceptable. Son, Moura & Rose are the only players who look like they actually try their very best. It's HEARTBREAKING to see the thing you love most fail, right in front of you. Absolutely gutted.

I think we are close to that. I am actually fine with any other manager who is keen to come to our club. Poch needs to go, period.

Oh I'm not saying the answer is Poch. If when he was sacked by ManU would you all be saying the same thing if say Poch had suddenly left for health issues or the like. This whole bring in that prick as I said just stinks of desperation. There has to be better options than that. It is a short term, like 18 month fix at best and in that time he will waste 100s of £m.

His signings at ManU. We aren't getting Pogba like signings. Ibrahimovic is obviously class but the rest really? The ManU fans hated what they had to watch in the last year of him in charge. That is what we will be doing 18 months later as well.

Eric Bailly - Villarreal, £30m - June 8 2016
Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Paris Saint-Germain, free - July 2 2016
Henrikh Mkhitaryan - Borussia Dortmund, £27m - July 6 2016
Paul Pogba - Juventus, £89m - August 9 2016
Victor Lindelof - Benfica, £31m - June 15 2017
Romelu Lukaku - Everton, £75m - July 10 2017
Nemanja Matic - Chelsea, £40m - July 31 2017
Alexis Sanchez - Arsenal, swap deal, January 22 2018
Diogo Dalot - Porto, £19m, June 6 2018
Fred - Shakhtar Donetsk, £52m, June 21 2018
Lee Grant - Stoke, £1.5m, July 3 2018

But you can't sell them if they won't leave.
I’d cancel their contracts, pay them up and fcuk them out the door as soon as possible before this gets any worse, whether that be a couple of players and/or Poch.
I’d sooner see the likes of Skipp and Tanganga starting than this shower.
We’ve got a cancer in our club and that’s the only way we’ll get rid of it.

Son has been one of the worst offenders, and has been that way since he's been here. The guy doesn't know how to defend and getting him track back is like pulling teeth. Moura is similar.

I understand your point but if the players want to leave what makes you think they will play for a new manager? If they want to leave they won't play for anyone at Spurs.

My only gripe with Poch is that he has kept them in the team
A fresh well respected face could do wonders with these lot. They didn’t lose their ability overnight. They’re struggling with the basics and heads drop so fast. Poch talks a big game but I’m not sure about his own ‘winning mentality’. Jose could foster a siege mentality with these lot pretty quick. I really do think we could do a lot lot worse than Mourinho or Allegri right now. Don’t think either are long term solutions, but just someone to try keep us in the top 4 and not have the last half decade go to waste

I’ve reached that stage in life/age now where rather than getting over a game like this by going out and getting pissed and having a mad one, I’m actually off out to a garden centre to buy a new bird bath and have some cake.

I’m doing the same, but instead of going to the garden centre I’m going to have a wank, and instead of eating cake I’m going to cry.
