@ralvy explain this on 55 seconds

Other than not showing if he was already in possession of the ball or if he had just received it (I remember it being the former, but I'm not sure), don't you think those images partially illustrate the point I was making? Hugo Lloris had the ball under a high pressure situation (in this case, because the Arsenal player reacted very vividly and charged after him), so he had to rush his decision making, and the result in this particular case was that he took a wrong decision.

I wouldn't consider that a high pressure situation, the only thing that makes it that is his own indecision. Infact you can tell it's no a high pressure situation from the way the ball rolls to him and how Vert is casually jogging.

You weren't making the point, I was lol

So my point still stands, decision making needs to be bought into question, just fucking boot it if our defenders are being pressed with their back to goal.

Yeah, but it becomes high pressure because of who quickly Pepe (I think) reacts and gets near him. It wasn't just Lloris being a bi indecisive, Pepe reacted very well also.

My point simply was adding some context to your point. For some reason, you viewed it as an attack on your point or something, which it wasn't.

When not pressed or not given the ball in such tight spots, Lloris rarely makes a wrong decision (though in such less stressful situations, his execution is not always the best). Do you disagree with that?

That bloke from Man City shipped 3 goals, the myth is that he can distribute the ball really well, the fact is he has failed terribly as a keeper and he has been well protected by his outfield players so far. When asked to save a shot hes just shet but thats the kind of keeper the ill informed fans like to see.

Some of these stupid mistakes Hugo is making is just gut wrenching to watch. The mistakes are killing us.

Poch had to stop him and not give him his place back until he earns it back.

That’s it for Lloris for a while too from the looks of it. All the Gazzaniga fans will get to see their man in action for an extended period of time.

There's a gif going around of the injury, underarm bent wrong direction ...
Hugo's done for the season, perhaps permanent.

what's the usual recovery time for a GK when they break their forearm?

not a common injury.

Hope the injury is not as bad as it looks. We need our captain at a time like this. a bad mistake by him but quite frankly he makes less mistakes than the rest of our team who lose possession, misplace passes, fail to hit the target with shots etc., etc

I know a lot of you are pissed off with our current situation and venting anger, but can we show some support for our Captain who's arm just got snapped?

He’s just broken his arm, you classless little pricks.

Every single one of those players deserves abuse and you choose to pick on the one who snapped his arm?

Fucking hell. Get over yourselves. There’s a human behind the footballer and he’s now not going to be able to hold his young newborn son for god knows how long.
