I imagine that that sentence means that Poch has an idea as to what he wants from Sess, but until he has him on the training ground he can't say for sure. I mean Dele was a CM when we got him, yet a few months later he's playing off Kane as some sort of forward.

Alli was scoring goals and getting forwards for MK. Anyone watching his Youtube could see he would be in the 3 part of the 4-2-3-1

He was 17-18 then?? He was very clever timing his runs into the box even then but he was still being used in the deeper 2 midfield roles.

Poch probably wants to play Sess as an attacking left back to provide width to his smelly diamond... ?

I thought sessengon had had his leg replaced due to the amount of time out.
They really need to take care with Sessegnon's hamstring especially has he's still a growing lad. Look what's happened to our own Dele Alli it looks like it hasn't been handled right and the poor kids had recurring injuries, his not been able to fully recover.

Bang on. He & the club should be very cautious. It was clearly a bad one and coming back without it being repaired & protected would be dumb.
People would soon moan if the injury flared up again and kept him out 3 months.
He needs to get used to our training etc anyway & without a pre-season, was always going to need monitoring carefully.

one promising thing is he did play 35 times for Fulham last season so it points to him not being a sick note .
When fit he looks like he will be able to stay fit hopefully

Everything I’ve seen of Sessegnon says he’s overrated, at 25 million. What does he add to Spurs that Danny Rose doesn’t already, and better?
