The 19-year-old was in the final stages of his conditioning period before the international break and was expected to return to first team training ahead of the match against Crystal Palace.

Sessegnon will no doubt spend a couple of weeks training with the first team and Pochettino before he is thrust fully into action.

Will probably be some time before we see him still but atleast he's training now

The pro's with Sessegnon, is his time in the Premier League with Fulham. He knows the level so thankfully Poch won't have to grind him into shape for the Prem

I think in the long term we see him as a fullback, but I suspect this season he is more likely to play further forward.

Great news, will expect to see him sometime in November as you know he’s got to get a full Poch pre season into him otherwise he’ll have forgotten how to play football if he steps on to the pitch without one.

Was having this exact discussion with a mate earlier. We aren't allowed shiny new things. Poch makes us forget we signed anyone as he always plays them 6 months after we signed them. N'Dombele aside, although he got injured so maybe Poch is right all along !

There's plenty of examples to the contrary such as Alli and Sanchez who didn't take long to start. It's completely down to the individual I guess. I expect Sess will start soon enough, probably against Colchester but also some more competitive games. The fact that he had a season in the Premier League will help.

Hope he gets a run out tomorrow at some point. Although if he does I suspect it will be from the bench and if we are chasing a goal.

Quotes in here suggest he won’t start. Bench max.

Of course he wont start, he didn't have a pre-season so will be behind. Having him on the bench though as a possible impact sub will be great though. I like the look of our bench lately. We finally have 2 or 3 players on the bench who can change a game in attack. I think he'll be used as an attacking sub for the time being.

Can’t wait to see him in a spurs shirt, don’t care whether left back or left wing just reckon he’ll give us something different from our other plays, which will freshen things up a bit (just like Lo Celso would... ?).

Think he will be our first choice left back before the end of this season. We have tons of space wide left which he will be suited to

It’s no surprise that he wasn’t on the bench. His preseason has been delayed due to injury.

He will need a few weeks to build up his fitness.
