We all know he can't shoot but busts a gut to get there every time where others dont.
Of course, yes. But with practically our last kick of the game he could have won it, but couldn't hold his composure to keep it down. I'm pretty sure everyone else, including yourself, went "for fucks sake" or words to that effect. My post was clearly structured in an absurdist and funny way. Hence a few people finding it funny.

Don't see a need to actually neg me over that.

Away at home against an Arsenal team who were fired up, had the crowd with them and Atkinson giving them every little decision. Add our missing players and injuries, it was to be expected.

no-one will care about that performance when we beat them at WHL when our team is settled and firing. It'll be a massive point gained.
A point gained from 0-2 up?
Wow

Stank the place out again second half and were very lucky to get away with a point once again. We’d be in the drop zone if it wasn’t for VAR.
Good job the season is 38 matches, and we dont have to play Arsenal and City away for 50% of them.

That goal before half time is so frustrating. Such a calamity. I’d have really fancied ya second half with a two zip lead. Crowd would have been down.

Pochettino is very talkative in the Sky sports interview. He seems really happy and talks about the end of the transfer window as a new beginning.

A good result on the whole.

Got to sort out this decision making on the break. So many chances squandered.

Winks MOTM by a country mile. So those who think hes not had a good PL game can screw their heads back on.

Poch didn't get it right today. Sanchez at RB was madness. As was not using Moura off the bench.

Rose to be dropped after the break. Time for Davies.

Winks play in the build up to the penalty was exceptional.

A point gained on a weekend, where it showed the limitations of those of the top 6 fighting for the 3rd and 4th.
International break,hopefully no injuries.

Just came here to say Neville is officially the most annoying human being in the world too me. Who the fuck decided it would be a good idea to let that idiot on the Sky team?

All in all not a negative performance. We could've done better but we've drawn with two of our top 6 rivals away from home.

Dele, Eriksen, Ndombele and Lo Celso are going to be a treat to watch together.

Can't believe some of you are slating Sissoko due to his shooting, the man damn near ran himself to death for the last 20 minutes. He powered forward when it looked like no one else had the energy too, and missed the shot. Could've happened to anyone but because its him it's a big deal. Grow up.
Fits in well at Sky IMO. A fuckwit on a broadcaster full of fuckwits. Merson, Nicholas, Thompson. Not a objective bone in their blinkered, fuckwit bodies.

1. Sanchez’s not good enough
2. Why no Lucas
3. Kane is he unfit , what happened to the energy and the shooting and Harry kane
4. Loris was superb (other than his feet)
5. Losing is two goal lead is a let down but many great arsenal teams lost two goal leads to inferior spurs teams , that’s derbies for you
6. Son where’s his final ball?
7. Jan got beaten to easy for the second goal , I’m sick of auba
8. Ceballos looks a player but so does Lo celso

Arsenal really aren’t very good apart from the front 2/3. We really should have beaten them but we continually shoot ourselves in the foot. Sanchez at RB was a bizarre choice. What has he ever shown that makes Poch think he is capable of playing there?
Despite being disappointed with result I still come away comforted by fact that we are better than them and think we will come above them.
But the scums will blow some team away with how they play today TBH.

Us on the hand, we may struggle against some teams like Newcastle last week.

So, I'm not as optimistic as you if this pattern and Poch questionable handling of players and tactics persist.

We are not going to win anything with Winks and Sissoko in the middle of the park. Just checked Wiki to backup my thoughts and they apparently have 4 league goals in 230 league apps for Spurs. That’s less than one a season between them.

Again, we walk away from the Emirates thinking we should have won the game. We have the settled team, with experienced players and a manager who’s been here 5 years and we can’t see out a 2-0 lead?

Are we pushing these players hard enough? Is Hugo demanding enough as captain? Something is not quite good enough.
I'm not sure what the solution to our midfield is, but Sissoko and Winks it ain't. They both have some sterling qualities but are both so limited in other areas that our midfield never looks solid or balanced with the 2 of them in there.

Sissoko, for all his great running, simply isn't good enough on the ball to be one of our first choice midfielders - certainly not in a CM2 anyway. He had some really good moments today - defensive covering, blocking, runs forward, etc - but his poor technique and passing really limits our ability to build from the back and link the midfield and attack. I thought Winks had one of his best games in a Spurs shirt today - he took the ball under pressure and made smart passes, moved the ball forward and even put in a solid shift defensively. However, neither him nor Sissoko have that spark of brilliance we have in other areas of the pitch. Luckily Ndombele does have that and would have made a huge difference today, with our forward players benefiting immensely from his quick, accurate forward passing. Hopefully once him, Lo Celso and Skipp fully integrate into the team we won't have to see this midfield too many more times.

We need a Ndombele and Dier (in the absence of a CDM upgrade) CM pairing because our defence is shit.

Rose needs rotating ASAP- he’s been crap lately.

GLC looks very tidy on the ball- reckon he could play CM/AM in a 4231/ 433.

Great that we’ve got Eriksen for the season. Having him and GLC clicking will be very useful
