Our next 5 games are Palace, Leicester, Southampton and Watford before Liverpool away.

It's vital we look to gain momentum and pick up maximum points before that dreaded game.

The conceding of their first was criminal. You won’t see a worse phase of defending in the premier league this season. What the fuck has happened to us defensively???
No competent defensive midfielder; it's literally the most crucial position in the sport at the moment.

Not to be that guy but the ref was very inconsistent today the amount of yellow cards we had compared to them for similar fouls was shocking.

Conversely, he also contrived to blow away our best two chances to win the game in the last ten minutes, with his complete inability to do anything vaguely composed.
Does anyone actually flinch when you see it's him charging through?

Sure its frustrating but without him we probably don't create those chances or have the momentum.

Ndombele will be an upgrade.

We are not going to win anything with Winks and Sissoko in the middle of the park. Just checked Wiki to backup my thoughts and they apparently have 4 league goals in 230 league apps for Spurs. That’s less than one a season between them.

Again, we walk away from the Emirates thinking we should have won the game. We have the settled team, with experienced players and a manager who’s been here 5 years and we can’t see out a 2-0 lead?

Are we pushing these players hard enough? Is Hugo demanding enough as captain? Something is not quite good enough.

We’re going to be a real handful when we can field a front six with a combo of Ndombele, Winks, Lo Celso, Eriksen, Alli, Son and Kane.

We always are in this fixture. They thrive on this being the only game all season where they hear their crowd.

People marking this funny be aware I’m that whilst it’s funny it’s also deadly true - imagine you play every week at a stadium where your crowd never sing a song or make any noise. Then imagine one game a season they’re suddenly baying for blood and the game seems like it’s the CL final.

Their players absolutely thrive on it because it’s the only time they ever get that experience.

Put on a decent showing against arsenal at their home, a place where we get comfortably turned over when we are in amazing form and people still bitching calling out the coach

Go back to the ridiculous this the end thread or whatever it's called

I think people are missing the point on Sissoko. He drove us forward, wasted 2 half chances but at least he did that. The alternative was two waves of arsenal attacks and probably conceding... Did winks do anything like that all game?

Sanchez/Rose but absolutely braindead all game. Important season for both of them. Both a big worry.
Sanchez was playing out of position. He just needs to be more mature which I hope time is on his side. But in Spurs side, fans had not patience.

Rose on the other hand is almost unforgivable. He used to be the best LB in the country but he was so far off in his game now it's amazing for that to happen.

On the positive note, we’ve now got through city & arsenal away without defeat, we just need to get that first win away from home, been a while

Winks played well.

Really didn't play in the 2nd half because we didn't close down their mid-field. Had some good chances towards the end, but lacked the composure in front of goal & the best chances fell to Sissoko who simply can't hit a barn door.
