Sad just a limp performance and we shouldnt have to call/ rely on dodgy VAR calls to get us back into the game. We knew what Newcastle were all about and we watched them do it

That's my issue. We knew this was going to be their tactics, yet we had no answer. We should have just had Dier in midfield and Eriksen playing off him all game. That's all we needed; not Winks playing the obvious balls and Sissoko doing whatever he does. It's just incredible. Also, Vertonghen never allows that goal, I'm absolutely convinced of that. Sanchez may very well be great eventually, but he's just so inconsistent.

I didn't need to do this. I could have picked any side to support. I'm not from London, never been to England, should have picked Man United or Liverpool or Arsenal like everyone else over here. But the son of a London cab driver gave my dad a Spurs shirt when I was 10 so I signed up and here we are.

Sigh.
In the 90s? He's probably right then to give away the shirt. We were shit.

Serious questions needs to be asked.

What the hell is Poch up to?
Why is sanchez playing?
Why is two of our best players on the bench?

I just went though our overall record in all comps since the wolves defeat at Wembley in December. So essentially a 2019 calendar year . I counted 33 fixtures, 15 losses. For a supposed top team that record is terrible. It's not just a one off performance, this has been a steady decline. Even the matches we have won, we look a shadow of our former selves generally.

I agree but even with Eriksen and Lo Celso on today, we only looked marginally less clueless. It may not be the case but I just feel like as a unit we don't move as effectively as we should and we don't play with a good enough tempo. Something just really isn't right the makeup of our play.
Agreed if you look at our movement off the ball it's poor and that's being kind. We are often flat footed when recieving the ball.

Rather lose to Citeh last week and got the point today. Doing liverfool a great favour fucking hell.

If you actually thought we’d be anywhere near a title challenge after how we finished last year and how we’ve started this year, you’re on crack my friend

Can we use the Geneva Convention or some other s**t agreement to prevent Mike Dean from officiating our matches.

Can we have WHL back?

We were spoilt in the final season, it felt like a fortress which no one could break down.

Our league form is so bad right now, away from home and at home.

no team has a divine right to win, but it feels like something is seriously wrong with our club currently. We have no cohesion or urgency, sick of hearing the players sprout of to the media how they want to challenge for trophies but then don't don't do their talking on the pitch. I didn't seem anybody try and lead or try something different today, was like watching 11 chess pieces move left and then move back right. we lack flair players, we lack creative player and we lack intelligent players, we lack a player than can beat a man, poch has built a squad of practical clones, he seems to have fallen out with half our better players, verts now frozen out, rose left out of preseason but then playing every game. toby, Eriksen going to walk for free. think we have gotten stale

No we lack a coach he can play the right system for the players we have. Poch way or no way. Nothing new. There seems that something is seriously going wrong within the changing room.

Today again, we had some occassions where we could have a quick transition when the opponent is not organised yet, but we just slow the game down with too many touches or lack of belief/intensity from our players.

Knowing full well what he was going to face and picking both Winks and Sissoko.

And if Lamela is the answer to anything, he's asking the wrong questions.

Just a shocker of a performance today,
We know what to expect from Newcastle but can’t even defend against them,
Just passing the ball around the pitch with no end product.
Yes am angry same old thing really.

It's game's like these (and a lot of our previous lease games stretching to last season) where you wonder what the fuck we do in training. It's worrying how clueless we've been for so long.

This doesn't look good on Poch at all, the fact that we've shown no improvement in facing teams who sit back like this. Far too easy for teams to do this against us.

We just don't look formidable any more at all.

Been saying this for a couple of seasons now and especially last week against City. Our players don’t seem to know what the game plan or which position they should be in to receive the ball. Seems like all they do in training is kick a ball around for the social media videos that get posted.

Doesn’t help that Kane has been shite and offered nothing today, he never got into the six yard box for a cross.

All good teams get found out eventually we just decided to be extra spursy and have it happen before we actually achieved anything.
