Obviously there's still the rest of August to go in the overall window, but if Pochettino can't do something great with this squad, as it is at this very moment, I'll be astounded. Excepting Man City (but not by much), I don't see a better squad in the league.Just hope Poch is happy, that's all matters
we must not sell anyone in these last few weeks, fingers crossed and then we are stronger. If we sell Eriksen we weaken ourselves again so dont do that!
Dybala is a big miss though, 2 days ago - Coutinho, Dybala, Fernandes and we get none

They are similar in a lot of ways tbf. Both drop deep into midfield and are comfortable playing as an 8 but also comfortable playing further forward as attacking midfielders. Both like to ping long balls, shoot from range and are quite creative. Both are also a bit scrappy and physical for creative players.
Lo Celso is more of a dribbler and Fernandes is perhaps a bit more dynamic and unpredictable, but of all the players we were linked to, it does actually make a lot of sense that one would be a back up option to the other.

He'll at least have seen the ambition and we were ready to sign him, and he wanted us. Just too complicated at the end of the day. He'll be delighted with what we have, I'm sure.

Look through the ITK. Pretty much ALL of the ITKs were saying it was a replacement for Eriksen PLUS another. 2 from 4 was mentioned. Turns out that was misinformed.
So yes BF was the back up for GLC but that's not what the ITKs were saying.
Hopefully Eriksen but I see the squad weakening come the end of August.

As you've alluded to it's massively dependent on how the rest of the window goes. If we keep Toby, Rose & Eriksen (ideally with a new contract) then I definitely agree. If we lose any of them but particularly CE then it goes from being a very good window indeed to a fair to middling one. What I don't think anyone can dispute is that the players we have added are top quality and that is great to see.

Don't see why he wouldn't be. We've got decent cover throughout the squad. By all accounts Dybala was just an opportunistic punt that unfortunately didn't come off. I don't think he will blame anyone for that.
