I think this started when before the season ended, there was an ITK (Can't remember whom) that said Levy was waiting till season was over to begin planning for or negotiating transfers. Meanwhile other teams have gotten things negotiated and done during the spring for years.

Seems to be absolutely no grand plan. None whatsoever. Next year is going to be worse as many key players are either gone (Toby) or over 30 (Jan, Lloris, Sissoko, Rose) with little to replace them.

Poch has been a real trooper over the past two years and has worked miracles. I'm sure he has been promised things behind the scenes but those continue to be broken. Can't see him staying any longer if he doesn't get backed and if that happens, ugh.

We are so close to get there, competing with the best in all competitions....but I have a feeling our board is not sure if they want to...

Lets wait until Deadline but.....

I know not everything that's reported in the news is true, that ITKs speak to different sources and hear different things, and that everything should always be taken with a grain of salt. But taking a look at the full spectrum of the news we're getting, it seems nearly impossible to make a case that we're following a coherent plan. It all seems so very ad hoc.
Are you sure?

Seems it's always been the top targets of Lo Celso and Sessegnon with Fernandes being entertained because of Eriksen's unwillingness to sign a new contract.

Hardly that ad hoc and certainly no worse than others save Liverpool and Man City who already have extremely talented squads and adequate depth.

If this window ends the way it looks like it’s going to then you really have to feel for Poch, what more can the man do and no one can blame him for walking away.
What would others be thinking?... Harry and even N’dombele I’m sure he was sold down the road of us strengthening with him on board etc...

So sad to hear the latest ITKs.. Time wasted now is equivalent to money wasted too. Please Levy sanction the deals. Especially the players terms have been agreed way long before?

We supposedly had no interest in Fernandes earlier in the summer now we're back for him, we're now potentially selling Eriksen to United, all the sudden we've realized we want a RB, and Coutinho is actually our number 1 option not Lo Celso? Once again, salt and all that but that's what we've heard recently.

We did well getting in NDombele early and everything with Sessengnon makes perfect sense. But the rest seems all over the place.

well this sounds positive...
How can ITK’s be so positive until the last week? What are the fed to suggest everything is going to be ok? I know ITK’s pass on in good faith but honestly how can they be positive deals will be done when Levy is involved?

You know who gets most frustrated when deals don't go through ... agents (as that's their pay day).

Oh look, we're approaching a deadline ...

Just some food for thought to add to your pinch of salt.
