Think he's been poorly handled honestly, he wasn't suited to Burnley and Monaco didn't utilize him at all. But now he's probably got a bit of a reputation after "failing" at Spurs, Burnley and Monaco. He was probably right where he needed to be at Marseille, but now his wages are too high to go back.
