Jim White doing his usual "Have you seen this?!?!?!" thing over a keeper taking a dig or two from the crowd when he went over the hoardings, like it's never happened before and he's absolutely shocked to the core that this sort of thing could ever happen!

Wind it in, Jim, the way you talk you've only ever watched Premier League. He's so easily surprised though, every topic, "There's this story today, ah can hardly believe ma eyes...." - calm down!
That quote is 100% Jim White, he's just a buzzfeed article with a tie.
Jim White is a Drama Queen, plain and simple

It confuses me how a man can be so intelligent and well-spoken one minute and an out of control, violent **** the next.

Probably because he’s got a problem and (if he isn’t) needs to speak to somebody about it.

Quite interesting this evening, you have Simon Jordan (semi successful businessman, former palace owner and a bit of a dick) vs Neil Custis (complete idiot Sun journalist).

If it was a fight Custis corner would have thrown in the towel ages ago

At least Jordan speaks sense sometimes. Custis is just one of those typical 'last pick in the park cause he was useless at football' types who now thinks his opinion on football matters is everything.

Was Custis Louis van Gaal's "Fat Man"?

Saunders has produced a gem tonight. Has just said that Wan Bissaka is a better bet at full back than Ashley Young.
We now have to suffer Jamie O’Hara as well. Yes he’s ex spurs but he’s still a plank.
Some of the ex pros going on Talksport are of poor quality these days. Glen Johnson, Darren Bent, Kieran Richardson.
Cascarino and Cundy are easily the best.

Driving home, Durham brings up the Coutinho thing, who will he go to, etc.

First two callers (I think) were "Spurs fans" (allegedly). The first immediately stated that the club was in a state, Levy was a dick, Eriksen to United was a disaster and we should refuse £50m and sell him for £30m once the UK window shuts, we've failed in the transfer window and we should be angry, etc. Absolute bellend. Second one suggested we sign Ozil to show Eriksen what a hard working midfielder looks like.

It's like they only select the absolute thickest to go to air, it's as if some hospital ward has a direct line to the studio some days.

What's wrong with that?

To be fair, I'd much rather flog Eriksen abroad for £30m than to a domestic rival no matter how much they want to pay.

Other than that, I think you're right about the hospital wards.

I'm with @Shadydan I don't see what's wrong with that statement at all. I think most people would agree with that wouldn't they? The only real negative you could label at AWB is that he's only done it for one season so could turn out to be a flash in the pan, but he's still worth taking a punt on rather than persisting with Ashley Young IMO.

I think what he is getting at is its obvious he's a better bet, hardly expert analysis from Saunders who generally talks a load of crap, he stated during the stadium build that it was too big because Spurs don't have enough fans and he wasn't joking.

Classic bit of trolling on TalkSport this evening - phone in on who would you sign for - Spurs, Man U and Arsenal. Plenty of Man U fans phoning in outraged that there would be any question.

20 teams start their Premier League campaign this morning. Unbiased as usual Talksport are live from the Cavern Club with Beatles karaoke and a bit of Gerry and the Pacemakers. I know it starts with the game tonight but I haven’t heard anyone mention a Delia Smith recipe.
