Not to mention it's literally July 2nd, it's so early. Full preseason and all.
Always loved Levy, he's done so much for us, and it's good to see he's (and we) finally able to play with the big boys in the transfer market too.
Strange example for Isco, I don't think he ever really became the player he was supposed to be. No end product and he's 27 already, I don't really mind missing him. Chris and Dele have been great for us.
As for GLS, he might turn out good but if we can keep Eriksen that would be my top...
Maybe if we would have gotten a proper fee for Toby. For 25m I'd definitely rather to have him stay another year, he's worth much more than that to us. Him and Jan are too good and could be absolutely crucial in achieving our goals. Will also give Sanchez extra time to grow into the role, for...
I think he's open to leave to certain clubs but so far nobody seems to be going for him.
United links seems to have died down - I think he was more of a Mourinho target, and Ole is targeting younger players. They went from chasing Perisic and Willian to signing 21 years old championship wingers...
We haven't really been linked seriously to an RB, but we've seen plenty of Trippier-to-Italy links and I don't see us selling him without getting a replacement. Unless Poch really trusts in KWP, which so far didn't seem to be the case.
As for Lo Celso, it says "Eriksen replacement" all over it...
No, that's not how it works. Aulas knows how great NDombele is, he knows he's in high demand, do you really think he'll sell this early? It's not even half of June yet. Of course he's going to bide his time, try to drum up interest, that's negotiating. Whatever we offer, he'll ask for more.
I'm...
The January deal was a loan with no option to buy, that would be basically raising Monaco's youth for them. That wouldn't have been a good deal for us. He flopped in France, and it was a huge surprise he hit the ground running so quickly in the PL. Can't fault Levy/Poch for passing this one up...
Normally players can't just 'walk away for contracts' (otherwise every transfer would be much simpler), but this situation is different. The players have been physically attacked and harmed at their workplace. Their president (and boss) doesn't seem to do much to protect them, and there's a...
This is the scariest part. Tactically, I'm sure we can break them down, and I don't necessarily think they have a stronger team. I'd say the lineups are fairly equal, actually we have advantage in several positions.
What they do have over us, is experience and know-how on winning those games...
I remember when the Lloris transfer was announced, an hour or two before the deadline at midnight. And then did immediately released an interview of him, in full Spurs kit, at full daylight. It was signed for hours.
Sometimes I think Levy just likes this deadline day drama.
Did they? ITKs said Malcolm, then Moura. Nobody said we're going for both.
As for Lamela - apparently there's interest from Italy, no sign we're willing to sell though. If he can get fit, I think Poch will want to keep him,
If he can get back to full fitness, we absolutely need him in the squad. Our only creative player other than Eriksen.
Would rather keep him and get one of Malcolm/Moura than sell him and get both. If he's fit of course.
