If you take the money out of the equation it's surely better for this team's development to play EL next season. CL means you cannot rest anyone because every game is very hard sio it would inevitably batter our league form. We'd need to sign probably 6 or 7 players this summer who are as good...- thebenjamin

Well yeah if we were going to sign 2 top class wingers and a top centre forward, AND Werner. And he only plays if 3 or 4 are injured or in Euro Vase group games - then fine. But it wouldn't be that. It would be Werner + one more and he'd be a key player.- thebenjamin

Agree with that, just means we'll spend a lot less in the summer. We already owe an absolute fortune in transfer fees. Hard to see us committing to too much more unless there's significant investment.- thebenjamin
