Its definitely a strange one. Has Poch. Jnr done more than some of the lads that have been let go? I don't think so, no. Maybe he's made terrific strides in training, who knows.

You never know in football but I'd rate the chances of Edwards coming back to us as pretty close to zero. It sounded like bridges were well and truly burned.

Roles is a very different player to any of them bar GLC. At Cambridge he seems to have mostly been used as one of the outer central midfielders in a three rather than his traditional 10 position. I think that's a good fit for him going forward. His movement, creativity, flair and long shots are...

Ah, yes. Charlie Allen. No idea why we lost interest. It was us, Liverpool and Man City at one stage I believe so I don't understand why all of a sudden Leeds are apparently front of the queue now.

If Nathan had "got it" then he could and should have been this generation's Chris Waddle. His touch was immaculate, he had flair to burn and he could turn any defender inside out. Waddle worked out that flicks and tricks aren't worth anything. Goals and points are what count. Nathan never did.

Kenny McEvoy? He didn't develop. When he left he blamed us for stalling his development which is unfair I think. The fact is that he just never got any better. His academy performances were mediocre and I felt he was fortunate to get the two years he had with U23s. His development did not...

Ollie Turner (who I completely forgot about) has signed on for next season taking the total to eight. Ollie is an attacking central midfielder or left back. Next season Years 1's: Davies, Hackett-Valton, Mathurin, Haysman, Cassanova, Turner, Torraj and Scarlett.

I didn't mean Hayton, I meant Maguire. Brainfart. I think Hayton left us.

Lilywhite Rose has confirmed that Renaldo Torraj and Khalon Haysman have signed scholarship forms. That takes us to 7. Davies, Hackett-Valton, Mathurin, Haysman, Cassanova, Torraj and Scarlett. We're still waiting on news about goalkeeper Adam Hayton, defender Max Hudson and midfielder Mark...

I think it mirrors school, so there's an August 31st cut off.

I think its situational at the moment. We brought in Skinner because we knew that Binks planned on leaving and Skinner was available what with his former club Bury Going bust. Skinner had signed a short term deal with Bolton but I don't know if we paid them any compensation or not. Etete had...

Versatile defensive player. He can play centre back, defensive midfield and right back. I think what caught our eye is that he can handle a football and bring it out as well as being defensively solid.

That makes five confirmed. Jez Davies, Jordan Hackett-Valton, Dane Scarlett, Dante Cassanova and Roshaun Mathurin.

I'll see you a Bruno Uvini and raise you a Rodrigo Defendi. Going even further back I remember getting ridiculously excited, under Hoddle, we took a Brazilian lad on trial by the name of Diego Bortolozzo. I was sure we'd unearthed the next Kaka but as it turned out he wasn't even better than...

According to the usually very reliable Lilywhite_Rose on twitter U16 defender Ben Watt has joined Oxford on a scholarship. Bit surprised as I thought Watt was pretty decent. He's very similar to Tariq Hinds. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him progress into the Oxford first team over the...
