    American sports events are weird from a British point of view. they start games with their anthem and really seem to mean it. I played there in the 70s and was totally caught out by the playing of anthems. cancelling the weekend football seems like a very strange decision.

    poch is the best manager we've had since keith burkenshaw. developed a team consistently able to get in champs league. played great football and improved many players. all on tiny net spend. v hard to maintain with a squad where there isnt hot competition.
