I'm in exactly the same situation as you and for various reasons most of which mirror yours i've given up my season ticket I've had for 15 years. Still a bit gutted but now decision is made/no going back i'm ok with it.
For those interested i did have confirmation from the club they would...
I’ve not renewed due to personal circumstances although the crap football/atmosphere didn’t help matters!! I did email the club and was told the 20% will be refunded once they’ve dealt with renewals - I’ll be holding them to that as I have it in writing!!!
Just for reference for anyone else who is thinking of not renewing - i received the following back from Club re refund of 20% renewal fee from 2020/21 -
If you choose to not renew you season ticket you will be refunded the 20% which you have paid for this season. These refunds will take place...
I don't think i'm going to be able to renew this year - do you think we'll get the 20% renewal fee from last year back as it doesn't say much about that? Just that it will be removed from this years fee and if you don't want to renew just let the June 3rd deadline pass?
I've carried on using the Ikea Car park with no issues - used it for the Bayern Game which finished just before 10. Gates are always open as Ikea only shuts at 10 so assume they have to leave it open for a while after for staff? I've never had an issue with a late game at ikea.
I had 3 different browsers open from 9am - kept going between Buy Now on season ticket page and seat plan and about 9.30 it allowed me to pick a seat and process through to checkout. All done and ticket secured in Block 123 Row 16 - still a little annoyed that i can't sit with the guys i've...
This all stems from the defence - I'm afraid dier and wimmer are just not up to champ league level as centre backs - we miss Toby's organisation so much. We really haven't been the same since he became injured.
A good win today, lots of positives. Yes, we should have scored another to settle us down however this was away in Moscow with key players missing.
I also think Monaco or Bayer may drop points in Mosow esp as its only going to get colder out there - they won't fancy playing out there in Nov/Dec!
If we can get through this with a win then I still fancy us winning against Saints at home and Newcastle away without Dembele if it still matters! We'll know before Saints game potentially and then it doesn't we'll only need a point from last 2 games to secure second.
Looking at the table it makes no difference to us if Arsenal drop 3 or 2 points at home against Wigan, if they draw we need a win and it makes Sunderland safe and hopefully gives us an easier game. If they lose to Wigan we still need 3 points as a draw would mean Arsenal could win and beat us...
Does this all seem a bit familiar - like Aston Villa last year, last but one game 1-1 draw no good yet can't get the ball in the back of the net! We need a win - can't see Arsenal loosing, drawing possible but not loosing!
