We lost the chance to win the league when in the same week we only got 1 point from the WHU(A) and 10 men Arsenal (H). games. A win at WH would have put us top and a win at the weekend against that lot would have solidified our position and put the pressure on Leicester. After that disastrous...
Mainly because they are not making purely objective decisions but are instead trying their best not to make the on field referee look bad. I don’t know why, if they have a doubt about his decision m, they can’t get him to have a look at it at the on field monitor but only at normal speed. Slow...
Part of the problem is the CL. In the early stages there’s 2 weeks between games. They also don’t allow domestic leagues to play games on the same day as CL games. They also could start the knockout rounds earlier. EUFA make it hard for the clubs not the domestic leagues. If Pep and Klopp etc...
The Eze-Olise Show at Selhurst Park today. Whoever was in charge of recruiting at the time who decided not to take the plunge for them should be ashamed of themselves. I know people say they wouldn’t have got game time with us but if we’d had people with brains they would have bought them and...
Basically these teams are complaining they are successful and by extension making more money than the other teams. Furthermore they want that that football and financial success should be rewarded with extra benefits for them at the expense of the less successful teams m.
You never can be too...
It’s perfectly normal to play Wednesday and Saturday. Having said that given the FA knew City would be in Europe that week I don’t see why their game wasn’t the Sunday game. It wouldn’t have disadvantaged any of the other SemiFinalists.
I agree. That is the most subjective aspect of the decision. I remember reading a long while ago about something about the frame speed(?) made it very difficult to decide the EXACT moment the ball leaves the foot.
In fairness to the Utd players when the last pen went in they didn’t run to celebrate but instead turned to congratulate the Coventry players. They knew they didn’t deserve to go through to the Final
United have got to be the luckiest side in the country. Completely outplayed by a Championship side and go through in penalties. Hardly out in a decent performance in any league game all season and are in with a shout for Europe. Unbelievable.
Always think it’s wrong that they toss the coin twice . Whoever wins the first toss should choose whether they pick the end or who goes first at the penalty kicks. Seems unfair that one team gets to pick the end and the order of kicks.
No
No, he just simply pushed him. It not a shoulder charge nor is it case of him just putting his arm out; it’s a push and I fail to see why that shouldn’t be a penalty as it’s a foul.
